Ok so as I was taking the rear gear case apart and pulled it away, the clutch shaft stayed attached to the scooter and a white nylon washer fell to the ground. My question is...where does this washer go? It must go in between some gears and the case or something to act like a spacer or something to absorb load shock? Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'll try to get a picture up if I can

Yes I do. It goes behind the set that you have to press on. it goes between the case and the gearset. its a spacer.

The counter gear set? Closest to the brake drum or closest to the clutch bell?

what size motor is it? it goes on the set that you pressed the gear on. You put it in first, between the gearset and the case. Or just put it on the shaft, and then stick the shaft into the bearing.
