Yeah, I had to replace some sewline last year... really sucked. I didn't have to replace the main, but I had to cut into my floors and run new sewer line from the kitchen to the bathroom... The joys of living in a house built in 1923..... It's a life style, dang it...

Anybody use a dental pick to get the old one out? I have a set of picks I got from harbor frieght for like 4 bucks, work awsome. The part you seek.... They have 'em at Scrappy Dawg's. Just hit the drop down and get the one for the EGR head (even tho it says they are the same, better safe the sorry) Cam cover gasket/o-ring Tough to find replacement gasket for your 139qmb (same gasket for both EGR and non-EGR, and 150 (both EGR and non-EGR available) . $4. choose your type 139qmb 50cc $4. 125/150cc EGR $4. 125/150cc non-EGR $4. Here is the link.... www.scrappydogscooters.com/125_150_4-STROKE_PARTS.html

I think I'd rather be a Scooter Jedi master.... Even tho I do know how to adjust valves.... (I adjust mine with chopsticks)... Funny tho, I do call my scooter, "The Fortune cookie"....
I leanred to use chopsticks in high school. I learned from a Japanese cheerleader (talk about motivation)...

sounds like it needs a valve adjustment. When they get cold blooded and wanna die at stop lights, it's usually time for a valve adjustment.

check the bulbs first... if they are ok... check the voltage regulator... then move to the stator. The stator is the hardest of the three to replace.

I've seen it twice. Once on my bike, and once on a buddies. It is the only thing that has stranded me on the side of the road with my bike. I put it on, could drive three blocks, it's come off again... wait for it to cool so I could get me hand up in there, put it on, maybe get 3 miles out of it.... Longes 20 miles ride I've ever had, to get it home. Replaced the boot the next day.

don't have that kind of money yet.... I'll be saving my nickles and dimes for about a year.... And I'm probably gonna have to get a California bike as DMV is a pain with out of state vehicles.

thats gonna depend on the type of deal I get. Probably anywhere in Northern California. Say Redding or Chico. I'll even do the bay area. But I'd probably have to get a trailer on the Jimmy. I'm not sure a Helix or Big Ruckus would fit in my rideline.

I know what I want.... If I can find one. I want a Honda BIG Ruckus. Anyone know a good source?
Short of that, I will get a Helix, but I really like the Big Ruckus. the biggest problem is I think they are a bit rare. I've never seen one on craigslist in California.
Anythoughts, guys? My next scoot will be at least a 250cc class scooter, and I have always liked Honda. I don't care for the looks of the Helix, however, but I do like the storage and the fact that's it's on the easier side to get parts for.
As for the Helix, does anyone make a body kit for it?

[replyingto=ej132]ej132[/replyingto]It's more then a gasket, it's also a shim. Differences in manufacturing tolerances etc, make it to where sometimes you need a little more or little less space to make everything work right.

26 ft lbs seems to be what I've seen on the 150's. I do 20 in a criss cross pattern then do them again to 26. I'd just get a head for it. On a 150 they are cheap... scrappy has em for like 50 bucks and it sure beats pulling the engine out again to change a head. Your time has to be worth something... right?
On the exhaust, I've always just snugg em down evenly with a new gasket and make sure you aren't hanging the exhaust off just the studs.

Mine were 180 bucks for reg, transfer and tax. I paid 500 for the scoot. In california, you have to be carefull on craigslist. Fees can add up to more then a scooter is worth, if the registration is overdue.

I can't wait for you to get this thing and see a review/assesment. I like the rocketta sport bikes (250) but they aren't legal here in California niether is the bike you are looking at. I think there is only one 250 scooter, right now that's carb certified. You can get older one's but out of the new chinese bikes, looks like there is only one, currently, and I don't care for it.

Paint was a hold over from Win 3.1 and it wan't ment for pictures. It was for editing Bitmaps for programmers. For that it was an awesome tool. For doing just about anything else, it sucks.
