Got no headlights, no console lights… but the headlight flasher lights work. I thought I solved this (thread in trikes) thinking it was condensation from a lot of rain here in s.florida. Re-checked all the wiring/connectors and fuses all OK. Battery is fully charged rear lights OK, and front /rear directionals work fine. Not riding at nite but I need any help in solving this. Thanks

Condensation was the culprit!! Ordering a new battery, problem solved. We had over 2 weeks of daily thunderstorms and rain downpours in s.florida. I failed to cover the scoot a few times and rainwater got into my console and water created the condensation on wires and inside headlight glass. The sun dried it out and no more problem with lights… I do have to keep a full charge on the battery and suspect it's losing the charge by end of t he week.

How recent did you replace the wire and coil? I wouldcheck your wire for any cracks and loose connect to the plug or check the plug for cracks and proper gap. Next, check for old or bad gas or sediment in your tank… if gas flow to filter is good. Check for any residue in your float bowl. Did you check for cracks in your intake hose or cracks or vacuum leaks at all your hose connections, I replaced those butterfly clips with plastic quick ties, found leaks with engine idling and spraying carb cleaner by all the hose connections. Clean or replace your air filter...CDI is also suspect.lol

Last week it started, noticed I had the brights switch on stopped to get gas and I had drained the battery got it home put a full charge and then noticed the problem after riding 76 miles rd trp to the VA

Mine is a 2011Vogue/AM I also noticed checking headlites (barely dim) at nite the dashboard lites are out also. Checked battery fuse and replaced it, I know there's another fuse in front but can't access it. connections are ok nothing loose. Flashers work as does flash headlite switch on handlebar. May be the two headlight bulbs…anyone replace/ know the the number on these headlight bulbs or had this problem? Scrappy has headlights B35 and 35W Anyone?

Yes Mike, but they are older 2009 models they bought from other oob dealers,no warranty, they aren't the most reputable online dealer either. Spoke to the owner once who didn't live up to his advertising. Anyone is better off buying one on ebay like I did or a local dealer if you can find one. AM going oob is not helping the situation.lol

I'm a member of that group and flagged it here for our new member to join… mike, interesting you are aware that the Vog260 and 150ZK trike are made by Xingyue… in fact AM corp, 2012, was showing us on AM forum a prototype Vog260 engine with the (unique) trike tranny but never offered it for sale. Guess it was the same issues that caused the demise of the company, or a safety issue riding this trike on interstates? Could also be that China having ripped off the trike from Japan and maybe japan who supplies the differential in the tranny refused, they do have them custom in japan tho.lol

Haven't found a aftermarket muffler yet...but our guy Patrick has over 50,000 miles on his AM he bought in 2010 and still commuting daily 100 miles. Auto Moto dropped the forum May2013 and is oob. lol

I have a 2011 Vogue/AutoMoto trike same color red, bought it on ebay June 2012 w/750 miles, I use it every day here in S.Florida (recent move) for shopping going to the beach in Boca Raton. I have over 4,000 trouble free miles logged in on mine with just a few aftermarket parts you should consider replacing, performance orange CDI, orange coil and wire, and a iridium plug, about $ 50 @ scrappydog on line. I cruise 48-50 mph and top out 52+ or 55 on a downhill. Enjoy your new ride... it gets better at 1,000 miles- savy09

I'm talking about scooters in the 150cc category, specifically, the Vogue/Auto Moto 150ccZK trike. Many owners like myself can cruise at 48-50+mph all day, others top out 45mph. Most 2 wheeler 150cc can top-out 55mph., wo mods. That's wot on most of these scoots and not having anymore throttle to get out of harms way is not riding safe, and yet I keep seeing AutoMoto trikers on their forum asking the same question. How can I mod this motor to get me to ride on the interstates? Of course the answer is get a (Piaggio mp3) 250cc... the manufacturer Xingyue has a 250cc with the rear differential, but not for sale in the USA. to date. There is a wind turbulence issue with this trike because of the canopy enclosure. Many sellers in the past advertised a 60mph top speed for the 150cc scooters, just to sell a scooter. Interstates are 65-70 mph and motorist are all doing 10mph over the limit, most of the time, that's not a safe ride for a 150cc. IMHO Attachments:
