Got no headlights, no console lights… but the headlight flasher lights work. I thought I solved this (thread in trikes) thinking it was condensation from a lot of rain here in s.florida. Re-checked all the wiring/connectors and fuses all OK. Battery is fully charged rear lights OK, and front /rear directionals work fine. Not riding at nite but I need any help in solving this. Thanks

Could be your RR. If there was a bit of trouble from water, there could have been some power spikes that fried it. You'll need a multimeter to test it. Be sure the system after the regulator is putting out at least 14v, but not more than 17v.

When your headlights worked did they come on when the bike started up or with the key?

Thanks will have mechanic check it with meter.
Lights come on at start-up position only, taillights come on with key when everything was working.

I found white corrosion on the bottom of the regulator connector and the green and black wires plastic falling off touching them with fingers…can these wires be saved by cleaning and wrapping with electrical tape, short of getting another harness?

You do NOT need a harness. Go to the auto parts supply and get some connectors that approximate the size of the ones you need to replace. Use a wire strip tool and carefully strip and then crimp new connectors on. That will probably fix your problems. Some of your lights like the tail lights come on with the key. Some of them come on when the bike starts, usually the headlights. Repost if you're still having problems.

I got the regulator off the trike and I find only 2 bare wires connected the other 4 are corroded (green) completely off the regulator end. So I ordered one from scrappy, now thy have to find one like it, a 6 pin male connector YYYWGR How do I insert a jpg image here?
Don't know if this will solve the problem… wonder if I need to replace the headlight switch???

Update:Back on the road again!!! Regulator arrived from China (12days) yesterday and installed this morning, voila! Let there be light! Headlights came on at start-up all systems go! Took a ride around town, the weather is sunny and cool mornings(72) now, great scooter riding weather here in S.Florida. The good life has returned for me!

That's a neat scooter. What's it like to drive? Have you taken it out in the rain?

Thanks. It rides just like a 2 wheeler, once you get used to the canopy(ride it for 15 minutes making turns) Great in the rain, keeps you dry moving forward
Thanks guys for helping me find and solve the problem!!!

Have you thought about adding removable curved side panels to make it really aerodynamic? What's your cruising speed? I wanna make something like you have as the core of my dream design but with a looow reclined position.

As is the canopy can't handle high winds 25-35mph it starts fighting you so enclosing the sides with canvas it acts like a sail and can push you over in heavy winds. lol
