I told a co-worker what I was looking at... several years ago, he was a service manager at a well known bike shop....early 1980s to early 1990s. He flipped when I said 30,000 miles. Basically "what do you think you are doing....?" I was always under the impression if you took good care of a Honda engine, it could easily hit 100k or more. I still believe it is a good buy. I would think even at 30k miles....It would infinitely be better than a taotao Powermax 150cc... Always loved the Honda brand. He just has me now questioning myself. Did you tell him about the thousand dollar part?

If I remember right the term for the engine was "over stressed" That's how the Helix could run WOT all day long and not break down. You mean "under stressed" Opps, you corrected it... as I replied... LOL Yah, I'm tricky that way!

Yep, scooters are nothing but little kid's toys. Just look at the video and see for yourself.

(but I don't think you could get them for scoots) why not? a paint shop can just paint the rims edge, thats possible. Maybe, but Leo obviously wants the old time "Fat" white walls for the scoot, and that would take more than just painting the rim edge.

You're welcome Leo. But I do love the "Normal" green one at the bottom of the page.

I poked around after seeing this and they were a custom job from Colorado Customs (but I don't think you could get them for scoots) BTW, here's a look at some of the customers choppers (I guess now-a-days they're going for the Big Wheel look?) ccmotorcyclewheels.com/gallery-en/

A Very nice looking machine (Znen seems to be really improving) and with all the preventive PDI work you've done, you shouldn't have too many "issues" in future. One great thing about Puma cycles is outstanding customer service, really second to none. (I know from first hand experience having dealt with them on many occasions)

True, ....and at least the parts don't have a 500% markup on top of everything else

Welds from outer space. (think spray painted popcorn) Rusted bearings on a scoot with TWO miles on the odometer! Yea your scooter was new alright. Newly put back together. Well it's been really put back together since then, with Malossi parts, Japanese ceramic bearings and Pirelli Tires.

Okay, if it IS spandi, I apologize. And I really did mean it joining in the fun. But spandi, you did pretty much challenge us. And after a couple guys went after things, then of course I had to hyper-analyze things with my 'Kat-claws out. And I do realize it's filmed on secured streets or a closed studio lot, so the danger is low. But still, the signaling right while staring off to the left really got me. >'Kat Kat it is NOT, I repeat, NOT me! (The days when I could wear the Skinny "Cigarette Jeans" are long over) You DON'T have these in extra large? It's just that after all Old Chopper Guy said about scooter stereotypes, it is a rather shall we say, "Unique" choice for a model? (or maybe they're just being inclusive) BTW, you'd know if it was me, just look for an Imperial Stormtrooper on a scoot! ATGATT!
