Yeah really,, I dont think they will be as much as the other higher quality scoots but I think the price will definitely go up..was just reading the other day about rear disk and people wishing the chinese would put them on the scoots. Its good to see more technology going into their work.Seems like the chinese have the technology to build great quality products,,I just hope they keep the basic stuff available for guys like us who like to tinker,,ya know I've often said that if your capable of building something as complex as a motor vehicle you've got the problem % licked. Making it higher quality will come in time. Just look at what happened with Hyundai cars, from the pits in quality to now rated higher than Toyota. BTW, (as a sidebar issue) did you notice the roads and buildings? As good as any in the "western world" Oh yeah, when I mentioned the end of the cheap scooter, I was originally going to use this "Happy face"...? Hope we can still get "tinker scoots" too.

Nice I will keep my eye on this,,my dad is looking for a 250 soon..nice looking scoot brother Dual front disk,,rear disk,,holy smokes!! Wonder what the price is on that baby...? Wow, I didn't even notice the dual front discs. (thanks for pointing that out.) As for price, as the build quality goes up so will the cost. You just may be seeing the beginning of the end for the "Cheap" Chinese scooter. EJL*

Saw this on youtube, from what I can tell it's a short road test outside the JMstar plant. (Doesn't to my eyes look to be a copy of anything)

Oh Jeez, This is so obvious. It was a "Magic rock" it flew in the back window, waited for 1.5 seconds midair then zig-zaged over the seat did a quick u-turn out the window, turned around and slammed into the rear, breaking the glass, and that is the OFFICIAL finding! (All kidding aside I'm glad you're ok, windows can be replaced, you can't.)

Hey Everybody got some update for Y'all, I ended up purchasing a Roketa M54B. As for the Police lights I plan on changing all the bulbs on the scooter to LED's and running LED police lights as well as adding a second battery to run those lights and sirens. I have run LED police lights on a small lawn mower battery for 12 hrs straight without any issues and don't plan on running the scooter for that long straight anyways.I bought it from Superior Power Sports so lets hope I don't run into any issues. When I started this post I didn't mean to start a argument but I do appreciate all the comments and opinions. I will post picks as soon as I get it and when I am done putting lights on it. Thanks I got mine from Superior and everything worked out just fine. I was gonna mention a second battery, as there is a guy who was running his 100 watt stereo using an AMG battery to power it and not tax his system. Don't worry about any "arguments" it just an ongoing "debate" that really doesn't matter as long as you ride with a smile (and a windshield!) BTW, if there are an issues, you could "visit" as a fellow officer and have one of the CHP's take you over there. I'm sure any "Problems" would be quickly resolved!

There could be worse "wildlife" encounters. We had a tech guy in Palm Desert open an access panel to check on some fiber-optics and out flew a swarm of Killer Bees. A 70 year old woman, minding her own business getting out of her nearby parked car was stung over 1000 times (she survived the attack btw.)

You need to tie a guard cat up to your scoot at night. Or an owl. Or an eagle. Or something. I'm going to have nightmares about opening my seat storage. Are you kidding? Leo needs Rikki Tikki Tavi!

(btb, thanks spandi and richard) re: batteries. Mine's the original from 2007. Sits on a Battery Tender Jr when I'm not driving for more than a day. I had the mech test it this year when he did my spring tune-up/oil change--shows in great shape still, holding a full charge, and no need for him to sell me a new one. >'Kat No worries Kat

Great! JR, any ideas to upgrade the electrical system for more lighting? (as I assume police lighting would require a lot of power.)

How about directing him to the 257cc (Linhai clone engine) Roketa? As the charging system puts out more juice than the 244cc Honda copy and would be a better choice for the additional lighting, along with an upgraded R/R unit.
