I see folks on the damn phone all the time, while driving. And those are the one's that don't check the blind spot and change lanes right into you.... Sometime I feel Like I'm dennis weaver in "Duel".... The other thing, is I think riding on two wheels has made me a better driver when I do step into one of the cages. In addition to distracted drivers who don't even look where they are going, we're suppose to be in California where being on the phone while operating a motor vehicle is illegal.

It's not just scooters, I had two friends on a Harley get killed last Sunday in Michigan by a woman who didn't notice traffic stopped in front of her (texting?) and swerved into the oncoming lane and hit my friends head-on. I am so sorry for your loss, we riders are a small community, anyone who is on two wheels cannot help but be affected by such a tradgy. Again my most heartfelt condolences to you and the family and friends who knew them.

Thanks Jerseyboy, I find doing a good paint job takes FOREVER, but the desert heat helps with "Curing" (still ends up taking WEEKS to finish the job right) Hope you have better luck with your gas tank, as I know how removing this stuff can be a nightmare!

Laid down metallic lacquer on a replacement nose section, and I'm now letting it "bake" in the breezy 105 degree desert day.

I had to take mine out and tap it at the pivot point, as it was so tight the float would not even move. Thanks 'oop

Are you kidding me? Indiana Jones wasn't even REAL. Now Tennessee Williams may not have been macho but, (and while we're on the subject of imaginary macho characters) Anyone remember Brando as Stanley Kowalski in "A Streetcar Named Desire"? STELLAAAA!!!

Thanks Bandito2. A most imaginative skewering of useless self-important "fashion balloons" .

Well it has two wheels and handle bars so it's obviously a copy! Maybe the designers just watched the same TV shows growing up? (BTW, Yeah a whole one and a half cranks! ) ( from Gerry Anderson 60's TV show "Stingray")
