If you look carefully the words on the decals are backwards. Actually what's really wrong is that Kat isn't riding it!

gib1969: I have really enjoyed it. The scooter had its set of issues but not any more than others. I did most of the repairs so it was a trial error process. The bike has good power and is very comfortable cruising at 55 mph. Top speed is less than 70. I don't know how others took this over that. Overall, I have 25k miles on it. Went through 2 CVT belts, 2 CDI, 1 water pump, 4 sets of tires, 2 valve adjuments and numerous oil changes. Right now, I am trying to replace the swing arm since the muffler bolt holes on it ended up getting stripped when I was trying to replace the rear tire. I think from all that I have read in this forum, Linhai quality is above some of the other Chinese brands. however, Linhai still uses softer metal which causes many screws to strip or even break. Their use of tabs on their body panels drives me crazy. I really like the retaining clips that Suzuki uses on their burgmans. One good thing for me is that I live in Atlanta, GA and Sunright (distributor of Linhai for USA is in Duluth, GA so I can actually walk in there and grab parts that I need. This is the best part of having the Linhai. Repair was fairly quick since I was able to source them easily. I hope this answers your question. If I had to buy another 250-260cc engine scooter, I would buy it again. Thanks - I replaced all the "salt water taffy" Chinese bolts with stainless steel ones, also since I found it nearly impossible to remove the body panels due to the self locking tabs, I end up sanding down the "lip" on them for much easier removal.

So I asked a couple of my friends at work. Dave said this was a tough call. But he went with Bullitt 'cause he saw it three times in a row in the theatre. Didn't do that with Mad Max. Heidi said Steve McQueen, def more macho than Mel Gibson. I pointed out she was comparing the actors, where kev' asked about the characters. Then she decided that Bullitt was suave and sophisticated. Max was pure testosterone poured into black leather. Point to Max. And I must point out to Leo and esp spandi that you've both made that same error. When you start bringing in other movies, that's not the character. So which CHARACTER is more macho, fellows? Me, I gotta' agree with Heidi. Max is pure testosterone. Boy howdy is he. And in the second half of Mad Max 2 he's also a whole lotta' pure adrenaline too. Now I have to go watch Road Warrior again. >'Kat OK fine Kat, but Max only saved some gas while Bullitt blew up the whole station!

McQueen. Guess who; A) Crashed a Mustang while filming Bullitt. B) Raced cars in real life. C) Did the motorcycle jump for The Great Escape. (and oh yeah,... had Jacqueline Bisset for a costar?)

yes Leo, you most definitely should "draw it up" (about time Vespa joined the 21st century)

Ya know, you'd think Vespa would get a clue and make a more modern design to go along with their classic "modern" lineup. (I think Leo should copyright his and send it to the folks in Italy)

I will Kat. I knew of it, (and it's infamous musical number) but have yet to see the whole thing. I guess it's something I'll save for a Saturday movie night. Cheers!

It looks a LOT better modded! It would be a GREAT candidate for a "Blastolene Bros." tank-style, but that would cost THOUSANDS and be a real job to perform. Would be cool though!I do love art-deco... LOL!Leo in Texas Gosh Leo, they're beautiful ......and with DOORS yet!

Having both a Milwaukee impact wrench (120 volt) and the Harbor Freight model, The latter is great at removing stubborn nuts without putting undo strain upon the bolts and snapping them. (I was really surprised at how well the H-F model worked.) Hope this helps!
