We had a herd that was actually car-smart. Was crossing a narrow bridge and Bucky's head popped out of the woods. I stopped, as did the oncoming car. Bucky looked at me, looked at other car, did this several times, then stepped out and stood between us. Then about four does came out and crossed, while Bucky kept checking on me and other car. Does got across, Bucky checked us once more then also crossed. Dunno how a deer learns about cars and making sure they're not moving, but Bucky sure learned. >'Kat Evolution. All the dumb deer are being run over and killed. (I used to wonder how long before this would occur.)

We as a civilization have barely begun. There are parts of our own galaxy with a million year head start. Who knows what awaits and what we'll find. BTW, if you haven't already, check out "Night Fright" with Brent Holland. In one interview with Jim Marrs they delve into ancient technology that should't be there but is.

I noticed a big increase on scooter prices recently here, I bought mine new a year and a half ago at $900, one with the same specs is now $1500, we have a free trade agreement with China (lower import taxes and stuff like that) which means that they should stay cheap, not sure if manufacturers are pricing them higher or our local motorcycle dealers cartel got greedy and decided to raise the prices. The fit and finish on the Indian scoots is pretty high. (Think Genuine Stella) If the Chinese start upping their game in order to stay competitive, you might want to think about grabbing that next scoot now rather than later.

Ever have the fun of running into desert coyotes wandering around residential streets at night To be honest , its not the known animals that bother me " other then deer " . but when it comes to the nervous feeling of being chased , I tend to think of the unknown creatures that may be wondering the back road woods at night !! Like some kind of flying creature , like a gargoyle , or something like Bigfoot , hel hounds , and things of that nature. Even certain alien beings would be a pretty scary encounter. Actually it really doesn't matter if you going slow or not when it comes to the aliens , lol. Check the stories of the "Mothman" and "Flatwoods monster". and go WOT screaming into the night! (*right over the state line in West Virginia)

An interesting article on the ever improving quality of Chinese scooters. (Being driven by competition with India, and the banning of motor bikes at home) and why the Chinese felt no need for dealer support (Up to now.) www.chinamotorrider.com/leaps-made-chinese-motorcycle-quality/A video of the Mahindra (India) Gusto scooter.

I think the main reason that the "Big Brand" manufacturers have quit making 250's is that the Chinese so dominate the field (and at a low price point) that in order to justify the increased cost they have to offer something "more" and that something (along with EFI, four valves, etc) is a bigger engine. The nice thing about the old style scoots is they're much easier for the DIY crowd to work on.

I did the same thing, only it was a ten point buck vs. my Ford Ranger. (he ended up dead on my neighbors front lawn.) I'm putting in one of these just in case. www.xp3hornet.com/

Wow, seems like someone has a hate for scooters. How hard is it to move a scooter out of the way? Yeah, I was angry to say the least. I didn't express my emotions then. But the next day, after having looked my scooter over for any possible damage, I told my friend that his step father and his buddy are careless idiots for having moved my scooter like that. Luckily, my Zuma didn't appear to have any damage, however, they now have scrap marks on their garage floor from dragging my 269lb scooter like that. Spandi - I checked reviews on Amazon for that half cover. Everyone seems to be happy with it. I like how it can be put on right after a ride since it doesn't hang down far enough to touch against the hot exhaust. mftic - Does 303 need to be wiped on to apply? I've been searching for something that can be sprayed on then left to dry. Not only would it be faster than wiping every spot by hand with a cloth, but it would be much easier for doing the hard to reach places. I figure it small enough to take with you, and easy enough to slip on and off with very little hassle.
