That is a fairly square tire so if you don't ride sitting centered on the bike and lean slightly to the left instead then the left side of the flat tread rear tire is going to wear out fairly fast.
The rear set on that Ruckus type scooter is a welded up assembly so there is a chance that its a bit off kilter. Do the front and rear wheels both align on the vertical when you have the bike sitting upright with the front wheel pointed straight ahead?

The ignition pickup is a $9 item that is notorious for this type of behavior too. Usually by the time you remove the seat bucket to check things out they have cooled enough to start working. Sometimes after giving you fits in the summer they will be fine in the cooler weather making you thing so other repair solved the issue. They many times slowly peter out like a fuel issue and then after a while cool down and the bike will then run for a while like nothing happened until it gets just hot enough to fail again.

Even expensive torque wrenches fail or go out of calibration with the cost of having them calibrated being too close to the cost of a new one. I use the Harbor Freight click type wrenches but always verify them against an old beam style wrench that I have been using for 45 years before using them. When the Harbor Freight torque wrench fails it still makes for a great breaker bar wrench.
For easy outs I prefer the stubby model Lysle from the Auto Parts store. If you go too cheap they tend to snap off and if the broken bit does not pop out of the broken bolt even the cheap ones will be extremely difficult to drill out and remove even with expensive carbide or diamond cutting tools.

And if its out of hand like in a Stanley Kubrick Movie with gangs of kids/young adults supported by delinquent parents with riders refusing to pull over and yield? We have too many instances where these criminal riders are causing mayhem.
Yes a very small percentage of officers go too far or mess up however it is extremely minute compared to how many officers are out there and how many of these criminals replete with their very poor parents they have to deal with every second of every day.
It is quite fine to say punishment must be reserved for the courts and for someone who yields to being arrested for their crime that is how it works 99.9999% of the time. They yield, get arrested, booked, charged and have their day in court. Those that refuse to yield, lead a chase or attack the police can expect to be viewed as a threat and taken into custody by force. Its the criminals choice whether to yield and go peaceably or not. It is the parents obligation to teach their children how to behave when the police ask them to yield or tell them that they are under arrest however parents are failing very badly in fulfilling their parental obligations to their own children and the community.
There are around 7.4 billion people on the earth today with 324,295,187 residing in the US so with the occasional incidents we see a few times a year globally and in this country it is an extremely small percentage of the time that these things occur and not an indicator of a severe wide spread problem with the police but with the general mentality of people.
The icing on the cake was the mentality of one aunt defending her nephews actions saying he was a good boy because his daddy taught him to shoot in the ground or off to the side and not at the people when he robbed them or stole their cars. Imagine spending your day dealing with an increasing number of people with that type of thinking and mentality.
That we only have a relatively few stray newsworthy incidents that the media bleeds for all their worth every year in the US is in itself a testament to how well behaved and kindly our police officers truly are when dealing with the issues of the 324+ million citizens they have to protect.

Yes police do sometimes get jaded when dealing with a community that totally disregards the law. Riding illegally and endangering on such a large scale and flaunting it is so over the top. Its no wonder though seeing how the parents of these young adults justify the unlawful behavior of their children.
Note that in Germany Police have outfitted their BMW Motorcycles with crash bars just like their cars to bring down errant scooter riders who evade since illegal riders have become such a problem.

Actually the premise was that big foot is a bionic import brought to the earth by aliens studying earthlings. The intrepid Steve Austin had a run-in with the big guy and ended up a guest in their center of operations.
I feel that the Ponce De Leon story with the Fountain of Youth is more plausible.

Hmm, Bigfoot also seems to show up during periods of UFO activity. Have you experienced any episodes of "missing time"? Saw them on an few episodes of the Six Million Dollar Man. I believe it was with Staphanie Powers with her UFO and secret base. Big foot is bionic too!

Not to far from Tampa Bay is the Santos Trail Head which has several bicycle trails for everyone to enjoy including one marked "For Advanced Riders Only" however it appeared to be blocked off by a bunch of boulders and felled trees. When one got closer you could read the sign advising that if you could not ride over the obstacles in front of you that you should not climb over them and attempt to ride on the Advanced Riders Trail. I doubt I could have climbed over them never mind ride a pedal bicycle over them. Despite the cane the right leg is good enough for me to ride a pedal bike if it has clips on the pedals.
If I go on a trail ride I'll stick to riding around the potentially life altering stuff be it with pedals or a motor.

I've gotten whacked in the face by a beetle or 2, but not stung (yet)... Count your blessings it wasn't one of our face sized spiders. Always wear full face with chin and neck curtains since I rode through a swarm of lovebugs at 65 mph. Was so bad I wanted to strip naked and chuck everything I was wearing into the trash since I was soaked through to the skin. I also started wearing racers gloves with carbon fiber knuckle guards after that since the bugs stung like pea-stones when they hit. Had red welts all over for several days after that event. Only buy riding jackets with cinches on the wrists and waist to keep things from flying up the sleeves, etc. If riding a cruiser with feet forward I will use tent bungees to keep the pants cuffs closed.

So far, Dr. Donna has prescribed antibiotic ointment, vinegar, ice, Tylenol and kisses. I supplemented with Crown Royal . Canadian Rye works however a little Royal Salute - 62 Gun Salute would do nicer. Royal Salute 38 Year Old - Stone of Destiny though would be more economical at just 1/4 the cost of the 62 Gun Salute or about $600 a fifth. You gotta aim high. I have only had the 21 year old Royal Salute but I can dream. Feel your pain and am thankful you kept it vertical.

That's why my bike at home is in a closed and locked garage when its not being ridden... Alas, the house we bought last year once had a garage - but it was converted into the 4th bedroom in 1987 or so... I really hate when that happens. I feel your pain.

Most solar battery maintainers are so big they won't fit in the seat bucket unfortunately. This is similar to the 1.5 watt one that I have and its 1/2 inch thick, almost 5 inches wide and almost 13 inches long and it won't charge a dead battery: www.harborfreight.com/15-watt-solar-battery-charger-68692.htmlFor basic use you really need at least a 15 watt unit however those are generally about 1 inch thick, over 1 foot wide and over 3 feet long. 45 watts would be for recharging dead batteries however those are three times the size of the 15 watt kits.

I remember playing my Commodore 64 hooked up to a 12 inch black and white TV. And this was after walking to school and back five miles each way, up hill both ways in the snow, in August. Walked uphill both ways? Lol sounds like you should have taken the reverse route each way. My kids questioned this (October through March) until I took them for a ride where I grew up and went to school. They were amazed at how hilly the part of New England I lived in was. Going up, over and down the other side of the steep Glen Forest hill to get to the school which was 2 miles past the other side or back home again sure beat walking the extra miles to go around it. Even being driven over it they found it uncomfortable though. Of course the road curves and is not straight after all its in New England.
