Thanks for all of your input. On the BMS site the pic shows the one that I need, but when I called BMS to order it, we discovered that they have the wrong pic for the one that they have in stock. If you look at the description on their page, it indicates that it is indeed a 5 wire and the one that I need is a 6 wire. My last resort was to contact Xingyue in China directly...LOL I contacted them before and they got back to me, so I'll keep you posted. If not, I may be contacting you tvnacman, because I refuse to be down all summer ! Thanks again... I'm sure we can get this squared away and quick. If the manufacturer in China gets back to you thats even better. John

sounds like a lot of work to save some coin. The pulleys don't break the the belts unless there is a sharp spot.

the black/red is for ac cdi (that your not using), the white wire you can use to energize a relay when the engine is running.

Warn your little sister if she sees him to run to a safe haven. If shes in the house and he knocks on the door to call 911. Back in the late 80's early 's crack was big the addicts would cop the drugs and swallow the vials, when they got off the street they would throw it up and smoke it. The idea was if the cops stopped you they did not find the drugs so they would have to let you go. John

Yes I'm the one that primes by hand while top end rebuilds. I turn the fan till I see oil come from the engine studs, then install the piston and jug (you have to hold the jug in place) turn the fan till oil comes out of the engine stud again, when I place the head on I complete assembly turn the fan by hand till I get oil on the cam and pooling below the exhaust valve. I put some oil in the spark plug hole during the process .
I have a strange way of doing things sometimes I even pull the coil wire and let the electric crank it a few short bursts. Then when it fires the first time nice blue smoke for the first 14 or 20 seconds.

I have a 7 pin that will work it has a black wire extra. If you interested have the tech at the shop call me and I can talk him through it very simple. Your welcome to call also . John The 7 Pin has different plugs/connectors... It could be re-wired to work but she would need an adapter harness or it would be hacked up.... She has a sweet 260 TBX, I doubt she wants wires spliced together. That's her plugs Yes the plugs are different, but if she can not find the correct replacement. This is a solution provided that it will work. I'm sure with some work it will work. John

Lain, what stator is in the stock engine? (number of wires and colors) Then the same for the replacement engine? Does your scooter have a kill switch?
