i am not getting any spark. i tried the hold against the case test to see it spark was present and there is none. i want to say its grounding out somewhere but i cant tell for sure i will have to run through it with a better multimeter again. someone said that the ignition cylinder could be grounded out im not so sure since the engine is turning over.
when i replaced the stator i replaced the pick up coil could there be a "clearance" issue with that.
no kill switch on the side stand just up near the throttle alleyoop. and i want to say its working as well. as in it lets then motor turn when in one direction and kills everything when in the other direction.
sorry i forgot i am getting fuel to the cylinder. i have checked and even tried shooting some starter fluid into the cylinder.

One day while leaving the house the scooter died about a block from the house so i pushed it back and posted a question here for help. the response was to check the coil the CDI and the stator. i replaced the CDI and the coil. So it has been a while and I kept the scooter stored till I could get back to it Last I checked I have replaced the spark plug I replaced the ignition coil and boot replaced the CDI unit and just yesterday replaced the stator. I have tested all connections and it will turn over but won't fire.
I don't want to say that I'm not mechanically inclined I have a Rebel 250 and dont have any problems turning wrenches when it comes to it, but this scooter has me stumped . I just can't figure it out . Battery is good and i tested the connections based on a video someone led me to.. Yeah I'm pretty much stumped and I don't have a way to trailer it to a shop or pay their shop fees any ideas

Last I checked I have replaced the spark plug I replaced the ignition coil and boot replaced the CDI unit and just yesterday replaced the stator. I have tested all connections and it will turn over but won't fire. The only reason I messed with fuel lines and stuff was I bought it used so I figured I would give it a once over since I had it apart already.
I also have a Honda rebel and I have never had any issue with fixing it so I don't want to say that I'm not mechanically inclined. I just can't figure it out . Battery is good kill switch and ignition cylinder are good I have checked all grounds. Yeah I'm pretty much stumped and I don't have a way to trailer it to a shop or pay their shop fees any ideas

so still not working havent had time to get to it but i finally got 4 hours to mess with it yesterday.
so i started with air i checked and cleaned the intake and filters disassembled and reassembled everything leading up to the carb
then fuel removed all lines and inspected .. inspected fuel filter and vapor lines leading from tank to carb everything checked out.
then i came back to spark. retested EVERYTHING. as i said before stator and pickup were replaced 2-3 months ago. just put in a new CDI and spark coil and boot. tested with multi meter on all wires. heres the strange think i cant figure out if you hold the spark plug against the motor and crank you should see a spark. (as long as it gap correctly which i did) but there isnt a spark . so i tested the boot and i get a reading. power all the way to the boot but the dang spark plug wont fire. even after buying two spark plugs (thought the first one i got could have been bad). i dont understand what it is i could be doing wrong.
any ideas anyone??

yeah i checked all the wiring per the videos instructions i found the spark coil was not reading as it should and because all the wiring tested ok i went ahead and got a cdi. so i am just going to replace the cdi and spark plug coil w/ the boot assembly cause im having the same issue where it wont screw on it just has to be shoved in.
last time it did this it was the stator and i just replaced that 2-3 months ago.

edit: on the testing of the spark plug that is how i tested it against the engine block but sadly no arc in plug ...

I thought it was a spark plug issue i found it to be very dirty so i cleaned it. tried it and didnt spark so i just ran out and got a new one but i got the same result no spark. i test my cables and connections and positive results with multimeter but i will check the fuel now that you mention it i wasnt finding any kind of gas small when i opened the carb at the top but i will run through that check list to eliminate any fuel problems
i will post my finding tonight/tomorrow morning

so i pulled out of my drive way turned the corner and my 2010 150cc meiduo started to "drag" like it was losing power or more like someone was holding it down. then it sped up and did it again i made it a total of two blocks before it finally died. naturally i walked it home cause it wouldnt kick back up . i just had the electric starter replaced and the oil changed.
when the lever is held and button is pressed i can hear the starter spin but it never fires. any ideas???
i have a total of 2000 miles on it i bought it at 750 miles someone said spark plug but i had a new one installed when i bought it. what really bothers me is this happened at about 11 in the morning i had already been riding around running errands since 8 that morning.
