First, I'm brand new to scooters, but I am mechanically inclined, when I know what I'm doing I just bought a 2014 Tao Tao BWS 150 scooter. It had 70 miles (or km, not sure which is being recorded) on it when I bought it. The guy I bought it from told me to put the highest octane gas in it. I only mention this because it could be related to my problem, but probably not. When I got it home I road around the streets of my neighborhood without any issues. However, today I took it on a real ride for the first time and it kept stalling on me. I first took it to the gas station and filled it up with ultimate grade gas. Then I went on a ride on roads that were mostly 40-45 MPH and had medium size hills. Every 3-5 miles it seemed, the scooter would start to loose power, and as I pulled to the side of the road it would stall. Attempts to restart it would not work until about 5 minutes or so passed and then it would start right up. This happened 5 times on the ride, which was only like 15-20 miles, at the most. Does anyone have any idea what's going wrong here?
