Here is a video of it in the 1200-1300 range. I think I will go back to the mixture screw and make sure it's set correctly.

I think I finally have the idle right:

I got the new tach installed and put everything back together. At 1800 RPM, my back wheel is spinning pretty fast, but I thought I wanted to idle at 1800?

I haven't given up on this, I was just out of town. I ordered one of those rpm gauges, I think it wraps around the spark plug wire. It should be here soon and I wanted to just make sure my mixture is correct before changing anything inside the carb, just in case. With the gauge I should be able to tune it properly and then see if it's still having issues.

So I got the float cover off by using a dermal to cut the screw heads. But, the float looks fine to me, I measured it at 18-19mm. I recorded how I measured it to make sure I did it correctly. I will leave the carb off the bike for now incase there are other things I need to check.

I think I might need a new carb. The screws to get this one off (the auto enricher and throttle screws) are all stripping and not turning.
Also, if I turn it over, the 4 bolts to the float cover all have no heads on them.

It has good gas flow at the carb when I'm attempting to start it.

I couldn't get it to start but I recorded how much fuel came out of the drain screw:

Tried it twice, both times fuel came out as soon as I started to turn the screw.

So you fixed the throttle and not longer pulls when twisting forward. The motor sounds good and revs good. When it shut off it shut off by itself you did not touch anything? Now will it start back up after it shuts off or do you have to wait a few minutes. Alleyoop Just now I started it and the auto enricher came on, when it was done the back tire didn't spin, it idle. I revved it up a couple of times and it revved perfectly. After the third rev it stalled and now I need to wait a few minutes to restart it.

I removed the evap, please see the video of the bike after removal and how it's running (well stalling)
I forgot to show in the video the other hose is capped off at the T connection.

I made a video of my evap system because it's slightly different then the one in your picture, in that my line that should go to the air box actually goes to the vacuum source (I think, assuming the manifold is a vacuum source).
Before I cut or remove anything please check the video.
