If nothing else, you could get a propane touch and heat it up, that should loosen it up.

If you have the same scoot as mine, I can take off the bottom side panel in arounf 5 minutes.

That doesn't come out, only the two bolts holding the caliper on, and then the two allen bolts hold the disc brakes in ;D

If they are the right disc brakes (got any pics) they may be a little tight going on. I use the Dot 4.

Did you depress the pistons in the caliper? not too far (I've learn just to squeeze them just enough to get pads in, that way you don't have to bleed them)

Yes, under the foot rest, if your running too rich, you want to turn the air/fuel mixture ratio screw a 1/4 turn clockwise in.

If I may ask, whats it doing? (I too have the Roketa 257cc) You have to take bottom panel off on the muffler side.

First I'd ask, Did he do a PDI when he got it? (changing fluids, checking vacuum lines for leaks and intakes, air filter, well you got the idea) the scoot may need to have the valves adjusted (how many miles) I'd run some sea foam in the gas tank, that will help clean tank and carb
