you are correct,,100% of the pad should be on the rotor,,,maybe a modification of the mount is in order,,,anyway to post a pic?

This is not a normal engine,, 9500-10000 is redline territory for this engine 7500-8500 is completely safe I would think,,, don't forget this is a handcrafted engine with premium parts,,,,,it is not the junk pile fodder Chinese mill,,,

Could be the cam chain hitting inside the tunnel,,,,,white smoke means water condensation from short runs and not getting real hot

I think the 8-8500 redline may be a tad conservative in your case,,,but i like to run comfortable at around 80- % of max,,,,they last longer that way

when the oil gets too low the cylinder doesnt get enough lube and the piston and cylinder get scuffed and they stick together or "seize" a soft seize is when it's minor and the engine doesn't get hurt too badly and will still run

Sounds like a soft seize may have happened,,,check the oil level
