Hey all! I'm BRAND new to this forum and relatively new to scooters, but I have a 97 velocifero 2 stroke scooter and today I discovered a pretty gnarly oil leak. like all the oil. It's has a separate oil injection reservoir.. but I've been reading up and I sorta got the impression that as an option I can just mix the 2 stroke oil with the gasoline like traditional 2 stroke engines rather than figure out the source of this pretty aggressive leak.
Is this true? I don't wanna wreck the engine as I'm not the most mechanically savvy guy on the planet. any advise would be SUPER helpful. thanks a lot.

Most likely the oil tank to injector line is cracked or the tank itself has a crack in it,,,my call is the feed line,,,you can mix the oil in the fuel,,,it was done that way for decades,,the only caveat is the oil that's being pumped also lubricates the pump too,,,so the hot setup is repair the line or tank,,( I'll put a ten spot on the line cracked) or remove the injector and make a block off plate ( I did this on my susuki and Kawasaki triples )
