howdy and welcome---go ahead and come in out of the cold--- i think you will not be happy with a 50cc. i started with an hd200 sym and soon found myself over the mountain pass and struggling to keep up with the traffic so upped to 250 and found it too cramped and went to a 500 and have now settled on a 350 piaggio which is small enough to be nimble and solid enough to travel the interstate. i reccomend not starting waaaay to small. lotsa miles and smiles to ya ken

howdy, yup, i had 3 of the cx500 and they were all great motors. the cx650 was only a couple years or so. i never had any of them long enough to worry about maintenance but the weakness i found was the suspension not able to handle a heavy rider very well. the last one i bought new and rode 250 miles before deciding the suspension wasn't good enough and traded it on the gl 1100 which was superb. they sound sweet between 8 and 10 grand on the tach--ticket at 10 grand in 4th at north of 100 mph

howdy and back at ya yup the nostalgia hits hard when i remember usually paying 15 to 50 bucks for the car sitting along the road and a few dollars into it would make a fine ride for several thousand titillating miles then a sale to someone else for 3 times what ya had in it. i had a choice one day of two cars in a car lot. one was a 57 ford wagon with auto and y block 312 engine. it needed brushes in the generator. the other was a perfect 59 edsel with the push button auto trans controls in the steering wheel center. i was wanting to go camping and pull a trailer and the wagon had a trailer hitch which the edsel didn't have . both were priced at 15 dollars. i chose and drove the wagon away. it was great but oh and oh, i'd sure like to have that edsel with that 411 cubic inch engine. it wouldn't fit in my garage but i'd be happy to build a new garage-----------

howdy early, that is what i was going to chime in with. larger wire =less resistance unless the connectors are not correct.

howdy from an owner of a machine that at least doesn't advertize as chinese made... piaggio.
it seems to be a step up from needing to carry tools and parts to make it across town or down the road.
i have ridden the t-max 500 but not the majesty and must say it was a very good handling machine.

howdy, i mostly just carry the toolkit that came with the machine. i did have spark plug and cap failure last week so now in addition to the spark plug wrench which was in the kit, i carry the extra plug as well.

howdy and---wheee ! thanks fer takin' me with ya on yer spring springin' ride. i just invested in a ctx 700 dct honda for the ride to idaho and thier 75 mph freeways. the old bv350 will do it but gets a little buzzy and far from a dealer in case of needed repairs. anyway---i hope i wasn't too much of a load for the old minnie moose.
