[replyingto=t150]T150[/replyingto]How often do you ride without your hands? Never good. Many scooters have a slight wobble, which I understand has something to do with its geometry. I recently read that it could be something loose, but my C5 has done that from new. Some have had success by simply checking tyre (Yes - that's how we spell tyre.) air pressure. When last did you check yours?

[replyingto=scooterelements]Scooter%20Elements[/replyingto]And the worst thing is that it is probably a 18w Chinese globe, which is probably the equivalent of a 9w. From what I understand is that some of the LED's are not meant to function effectively for a headlight.

Hi and Thank You. In Afrikaans they say Welkom. I am an English speaking South African, but we learn both languages.

Been there - Done that with the Chinese scooters. Never again, as it is usually your scooter that gives problems, and the odd Chinese scooter owner might never have problems. Chines is cheap for a reason, but you end up paying big on maintenance. Check your warranty as well, as in most cases it is a limited warranty, usually for the motor, but other things only have a 3 - 6 month warranty. Usually everything packs up a day after the warranty expires.
I suggest going for a SYM or a Kymco, but can also suggest a Honda PCX150.

Hi from a beautiful Garden Route in South Africa. I might be new to the forum but I am not new to riding 2 wheels. My latest acquisition is a 2011 SYM Citycom 300i which to me is unfortunately a highly underrated scooter. I can only quote a certain Kiwi by saying: "Smile Your Miles" Goodbye Chinese. Never again. My Gomoto (Lintex) C5 300cc is on the market and will hopefully be sold soon.
