I can't stand thieves, and they're usually liars right along with it.
I'd be keeping a close eye on your scoot, too.

It could be as simple as just taking the wheel off and putting it all back together again, lol. I'd suggest finding a manual to see where everything should be. I've only had my front wheel off once in 47,000km, so I can't remember.
I'm not sure I would've made it too far down the road after leaving that shop, without turning it right back around. If you can't find the problem, then take it back to the shop and tell them about it. Tell them ever since they put the tire on it wobbles/pulsates.

I used yellow PTFE tape.

The ring gaps will look much bigger when out of the cylinder because the rings aren't compressed. The gap is measured when the ring is in the cylinder while compressed by the cylinder wall, using a feeler gauge.

Mine was stripped when I got my scooter--- it had 250km on it when I got it. I didn't know it until I was in the process of changing the gear oil. I wound up using thread tape on it and it did a pretty good job stopping the leak.
I didn't really know many other options back then.

Gotta go with Vader here but it's close. The Emperor got caught slippin' and Darth Vader made him pay, in Return Of The Jedi.

Just to get an idea, have you done anything besides focus on the carb?
Make sure all your hoses are intact and clamped down. Check the air filter condition. Look for gas leaks. Look for any wires that may be corroded in the ignition system. Check the green ground wires. Pull the exhaust off and make sure the gasket is there. Adjust the valves. Check and replace the engine and gear oil.
What spark plug is in there?
If it sat a year that's stuff you should look at.

Yeah I saw that you mentioned it in your first post. Maybe the float is set way too high? IDK..

The main jet is stock and I did completely disassembled ( and reassembled ) the carb You need to check the number that is written on the main jet-- most have a number on it. I have yet to see a consistent stock jet in any of these Chinese scoots. It varies from carb to carb and scoot to scoot. It's quite possible that you have a jet that is too big.

The expected delivery day for the two jets I ordered was supposed to be today. Something must have happened because it went to Indy, stanford, and back to Indy again for some reason. Oh well.
Besides those 2 jets, I decided to order the Naraku jet kit on top of those. That way I'll have a good range for pretty much anything that I'll ever do.

I haven't tried the dr pulley guides yet.
If the posts on your variator are shot, the guides probably won't last as long.

From what you describe, it sounds like too much fuel is entering the carb and making it's way out that hose. The hose on the carb is normal, but fuel coming out of the hose isn't. Take apart the carb and check the float for damage-- there shouldn't be any gas in the float, so it may be damaged. Check the float needle valve, too, it's supposed to stop fuel from entering the carb once it reaches a certain level. I second this . you should not have fuel coming from this hose. I'd def check the bowl for float issues. At the same time I'm not sure why hitting a bump would cause the scoot to cut out , if this is the only issue. Me either, but that part sounds like the ignition system-- like the plug boot is loose or something.

Is that cable easy to extend, I wonder, or is it some special cable?
Even with my scoot having a 50cc body, it prob still wouldn't reach the dash on mine. I haven't given much thought about mounting it on my scooter anyway and leaving it there. It's more of something just to have when I feel the need to check my RPM for whatever reason.
I have a built-in stock tach that seems fairly accurate, but I wouldn't bet my life on it. That tach is prob more accurate even though only $30.
