There doesn't seem to be many jets or jet kits in the 80-96 range, or at least mostly in that range, at the popular sites for scooter parts. What are some good places to get jets that fit these carbs? I know I have the M4 style, to say the least. I think most of the 50-80cc jet brands are interchangeable, but I'm not sure. What I do know is that I have one of these in my carb right now (from partsforscooters, and it's the specs on their site): Keihin Round Style Main Jet Thread Size: M4x0.70 Overall Length: 7.2mm I found the Naraku jet KIT, but that's overseas (Europe) and I may order it anyway. It has #80 to #98 in increments of 2, which I like! Well I did find one Naraku kit here but it was over double the cost of all the others. I've found others that have a bit less in the kit that are in the range that I'm looking for but it's in China (go figure). Mostly on ebay. It seems like most of the jet kits I see go like this: 80, , , and most places that have main jets only offer those in that range even when INDIVIDUALLY buying them. Increments of 5 right through the range that most people with bbk on these 139qmb engines would want. That gets on my nerves, to be honest! As of now, for the amount of jets I get and the increments between the jets, it looks like the Naraku kit is what I should get. Looks like I'll have to wait patiently.

I ordered 2 jets from jetsrus. I'm not planning anything major so I should be good for now. Only one of the two jets I ordered is in the Naraku kit so it's no big deal. The Naraku kit doesn't have any odd numbers.

So you are looking for a bigger just for a stock setup ? If so , I agree its nice to have increments not 2 instead of 5's Well, kinda stock. Stock airbox with nozzle removed, and a bbk that actually came with the engine (hehehe). I'm running, well was, running leaner than I thought I was. Partially because the stock filter in my airbox is less dense than any other filter I ever had, and thinner, too. I didn't realize that until the other day when I cleaned the box out. I bought a bigger jet a week or two ago to see if it would run better-- sometimes it'd bog a bit giving it full throttle at take-off--- especially when the engine is cold, plus the weather has been chillier here the last week or two. It has that feel that something was lacking on take-off. It seemed to run a bit better with the jet. Since I don't have any main jets, I toyed with the airbox yesterday. I took the cover off the airbox and ran it like that--- it magnified the bog. I immediately pulled my plug (remember my spark plug thread a month or so ago?) that I put in a month or so ago and it looked lean-- leaner than the old one in that thread I made. It did have just a BIT of tan-- barely any at all. So I put the cover back on, and put the little snorkel on the box(took it off day one of the engine, well never put it on I should say) and ran it that way. The bog was still there but not as bad. Then I took the thin less dense filter out and put the "normal" more dense filter in and it ran a bit better. Put the nozzle on and it ran even better. By better I mean no bog really and seemed to push all the way from take-off at full throttle--- through all the way to max speed. Basically went from less dense filter and no nozzle, to more dense filter with nozzle--- the nozzle restricts air(you prob new that). Partially the weather, partially the filter. Learned a lesson or two, to say the least-- and that's not a bad thing.

So ultimately my goal NOW is to run it with the snorkel off and with the less dense filter (how I had it setup) with a bigger jet, just this time with much better take-off and no bog--- or if the the weather and engine was warm it was more of a dead spot to where accel wasn't quite as what it should be.

When I was tuning a bbk, I bought a few jets but they weren't quite right so I just bought a micro drill bit set. The bits attached to my dremel with a chuck that came with it. It couldn't be easier to tune that way, I just kept drilling out one bit larger and ran each one until I found the ideal size.

I need to get one of those dremels anyway, just to have. It's crossed my mind a few times.
Either way, I want a couple jets--- one for the hotter months and one for spring and fall. Something like that anyway. Another reason for me not to buy a jet kit that jumps by 5 in between jets. With all the different climates and elevations throughout the scooter riding world, and plus different filters, it makes no sense to me, really.
Seriously, in my first post here about the kit with 10 diferent jets (not the Naraku one) the biggest 2 jets out of the 10 were #105 and #110. Who uses those with a 139qmb with a bbk? I'm sure 99.9% of people on these forums don't. Lol, I'm not gonna lose sleep over it trust me.

I think it's the best deal you'll find and now that you already ordered a couple of jets, you have a little time to wait for that slow boat from China.. Here's the LINK(7 pcs/pack) GY6 50cc Carburetor Carb Keihin 5mm main jet #87 # # #92 #94 #96 #98 for 139QMB Scooter ---- Best part is the price.. $4.74 and free S&H.... if you order 2 sets, they're only $4.24 per set.

There are US sellers for the jets as well, but not in 2 increments. The seller I know ships fast and has #80 to #105 in increments of 5, all of which I have from them except #100&105. stores.ebay.com/chinesescooterparts/?_dmd=1&_nkw=jetEDIT: Sorry I missed that you weren't looking for 5 increments till I pressed post lol

At least it had the specs-- some of these people selling jets don't even specify, and I will not buy from them if they don't say, lol.

Actually they WILL work. I clicked the link and checked the description. The 5mm was the head size.

Actually they WILL work. I clicked the link and checked the description. The 5mm was the head size. Yes, they will work with your carburetor. For the 18~30mm CVK carbs that these scoots have, ranging from 50~250, all use what's called, "Keihin Style" of jets. PD18 PD24 PD30 All use "Keihin Jets". I too like that the manufacturer listed the specs with such a detailed diagram... I purchased in bulk from the seller for 125/250 Keihn jets. I purchased from a different seller now that I stop and think about it... But it's the same kits... The stores look the same.

The expected delivery day for the two jets I ordered was supposed to be today. Something must have happened because it went to Indy, stanford, and back to Indy again for some reason. Oh well.
Besides those 2 jets, I decided to order the Naraku jet kit on top of those. That way I'll have a good range for pretty much anything that I'll ever do.

Still patiently waiting on the Naraku jet kit. It's been about a month. I'm supposed to get an email when it hits the U.S.
