But the leak is definitely on the left side of the engine (perspective sitting on bike) because the inside of this panel is splashed on the left side only.

I just watched this video on how to adjust a valve cover... I think I may be in over my head :-( nobody knew anything in the beginning. i just started learning about these engines the past few months. you'll be fine, just keep reading and posting. Thanks for the encouragement! I'll try again tonight.

I would love it if it is just a hose disconnected because I think that would be very simple to fix! I will take my seat cover off tonight. I have to go buy a 10 mm socket. Of course that is only socket that was missing out of my full kit! I'll take another picture and post tonight.
