[replyingto=pmatulew]pmatulew[/replyingto]I live on the Mississippi coast. It's flat as a pancake here. Not a hill for miles. I guess I'll see how fast I can go!

[replyingto=gitsum]gitsum[/replyingto]I would if it didn't take me so long to save up. I have very limited income right now, so it would take me another 6 months to save up that much money. I want to go ahead and start looking for a job now, so I have to do the best I can with what I have. After I get a job (I've been out of work without transportation for a long time), I'll save up more money and get myself a better scooter.

[replyingto=pmatulew]pmatulew[/replyingto]I live in town, so a 150 is fine, although it would be nice to know I could go out of town if I want to. New Orleans isn't too far down the road and it sure would be nice to scoot on over there once in a while.
My only issue with a bigger scooter would be storage. I can't keep it outside where I live. I'm afraid it might get stolen or messed with. I want to put my scooter downstairs in my apartment, but I don't have much room down there. If they made a 250 that didn't have such a bulky body, I'd love to have one. I plan to modify my 150, though, so I hope to get enough extra speed out of it to take it on some highways.

[replyingto=prodigit]prodigit[/replyingto]What's your opinion of Roketa? I've gotten the impression that they and Tao Tao aren't very good and have a lot of problems. Are they as good as Znen?

[replyingto=pmatulew]pmatulew[/replyingto]I'm feeling better about the Interceptor. I've pretty much ruled out the Aeolus now. I just don't think it's me. The Supremo would definitely be easier to work on, but I like a lot of storage. Thanks for your response.

[replyingto=pmatulew]pmatulew[/replyingto]Wow, that's nearly $300 difference! The color selection is a lot better, but not $300 better.

[replyingto=spandi]spandi[/replyingto]I've looked at some, but they haven't been very helpful. Some people love theirs, others have had problems. I want to question the writers. Do they know anything about scooters? Did they take it out of the box without doing an inspection and try to ride it 50 miles at top speed? They just aren't very detailed.
I've seen the most negative reviews about the Aeolus. They're old reviews, though; apparently Linhai has been making that model for quite a while. But there are a lot of great reviews, too. I'm trying to buy on the basis of general brand name satisfaction as well as the reputation of the sites who are selling them.
Valley Scooters doesn't have many different models, relatively speaking, so I'm thinking that they have a good deal of experience with the ones they sell and have some faith in them. I've been told Power Ride Outlet is good too, although they have a much wider selection. I'm going to need a site that's supportive.

[replyingto=scootnwinn]scootnwinn[/replyingto]You're right -- I'm going to have to look at it every day. Thanks for that.

[replyingto=jerseyboy]jerseyboy[/replyingto]I could easily see myself on it. It has a good solid basic look to it. It must be tough because its weight capacity is 400lbs, a little more than most scooters that size.

[replyingto=scootnwinn]scootnwinn[/replyingto]Thanks for the reply. I think I like the Interceptor because it sort of looks like a sport bike. It just looks fast. If I get the Aeolus, and I just might if enough people choose it, I'll definitely get the orange. Don't care for the other color.

Thanks for the response. It looks like I'm going to buy my scooter from them. They have some nice ones at great prices. When I figure in the free delivery and the pre-assembly, I just can't find anyone who can beat them.

I'm shopping for my first scooter now and I'll be buying in the next month or two. Power Ride Outlet has good deals on some scooters I like. What's their reputation, if they have one?

[replyingto=domindart]domindart[/replyingto]Will do. You'll probably get sick of hearing me talk about it before it's all over with.

Thanks for the welcome! I saw a new Kymco around here (I'm in Biloxi, Mississippi) and I liked it a lot. It cost about 3 times what I had at the time, and I couldn't get financing for it. I'd buy a used one if I could find one around here at the right price. Not many scooter riders around here, though. I really wish they would have financed that one for me, but I'll make do with what I have.
