[replyingto=pmatulew]pmatulew[/replyingto]I live in town, so a 150 is fine, although it would be nice to know I could go out of town if I want to. New Orleans isn't too far down the road and it sure would be nice to scoot on over there once in a while.

My only issue with a bigger scooter would be storage. I can't keep it outside where I live. I'm afraid it might get stolen or messed with. I want to put my scooter downstairs in my apartment, but I don't have much room down there. If they made a 250 that didn't have such a bulky body, I'd love to have one. I plan to modify my 150, though, so I hope to get enough extra speed out of it to take it on some highways.

[replyingto=pmatulew]pmatulew[/replyingto]I'm feeling better about the Interceptor. I've pretty much ruled out the Aeolus now. I just don't think it's me. The Supremo would definitely be easier to work on, but I like a lot of storage. Thanks for your response.

[replyingto=spandi]spandi[/replyingto]I've looked at some, but they haven't been very helpful. Some people love theirs, others have had problems. I want to question the writers. Do they know anything about scooters? Did they take it out of the box without doing an inspection and try to ride it 50 miles at top speed? They just aren't very detailed.

I've seen the most negative reviews about the Aeolus. They're old reviews, though; apparently Linhai has been making that model for quite a while. But there are a lot of great reviews, too. I'm trying to buy on the basis of general brand name satisfaction as well as the reputation of the sites who are selling them.

Valley Scooters doesn't have many different models, relatively speaking, so I'm thinking that they have a good deal of experience with the ones they sell and have some faith in them. I've been told Power Ride Outlet is good too, although they have a much wider selection. I'm going to need a site that's supportive.

[replyingto=jerseyboy]jerseyboy[/replyingto]I could easily see myself on it. It has a good solid basic look to it. It must be tough because its weight capacity is 400lbs, a little more than most scooters that size.

It's taken me a year, but I've finally saved up almost enough to buy me a scooter. By the first of September, I'll be ordering one. I've narrowed my choices down to 3 different scooters and I need your expertise in choosing the one to buy.

My choices are: the SSR Znen Interceptor, the Motorino Supremo, and the Linhai Aeolus. They're all 150cc and the prices are about the same.

I personally like the Interceptor the best, just judging by looks. The Aeolus isn't exactly my style; I don't care so much for the retro look. I hear they're great scooters, though, so I could sacrifice looks for a better scooter. I don't know anything about the Supremo; I've just heard that Motorino is a good brand.

I'm shopping for my first scooter now and I'll be buying in the next month or two. Power Ride Outlet has good deals on some scooters I like. What's their reputation, if they have one?
