I don't ride when it gets below 35F the arthritis in the old hands just can't take it now. I think it's about 23F right now so no rides tonight.

I have 2400 miles on my Honda Met and not had any trouble. I have been looking at the PCX but haven't talked myself into getting one quite yet!

I hope Terri fairs out well and has a speedy return, I know I miss seeing her Jessica Rabbit handing out well wishes, and information. My wife works as a nurse in a womens prison so I know what goes on behind the scenes and some of it is not pretty or worth repeating here. Hope you get back quickly Terri, we miss you!

I'm riding today, but in the Jeep just because I have 3 pies and a salad to take to my in-laws dinner. It's just too cold here, 25 right now. My old bones won't take the cold so good now a days but I am going out later and maybe take a spin on the Met if it warms up into the 30's...it is supposed to anyway. Have a good ride scootnwinn hope you have a warm sunny ride today after a good turkey dinner that is!

Was thinking about Terri and thought that I would resurrect this thread. Yes I was thinking of her the other day also and we should keep this thread going for her. I'm going out for some breakfast now and then work on my honey do list when I get back.

It's all in what you get used to...we were used to the old format, this one being new is well new to us. We will get used to it in time, give the mods a chance to arrange/re-arrange things and then this will become the new norm and by then we will all be used to it. I suppose if you really don't like this you could always just go out and ride! Have a great day!

Fern I didn't know you were so close. We have a daughter in St Joe maybe I can stop by next spring when you open back up. I live over at Brookfield and we get over there several times a year. Hope to see you and enjoy this ridding weather.

I just realized that I am 64 years young. Been ridding for 3 years now and wish I had started years ago but I am making the most of it now.

I didn't know that some Wal-Mart's were starting to carry Community Coffee! I got started drinking that brand when I was married to a southern gal and she introduced me to that. I got hooked on the New Orleans style with chickory...I got hooked bad and every time we went back to Louisiana I got a case of the stuff. We split up a few years back but I still have the craving for Community Coffee and it's unique taste. So now I'll have to start really looking close at the coffee shelves at Wally World. I also like a brand I found at the World Market store called Texas Turtle, it is a medium roast & body with a caramel, chocolate & pecan flavors...it doesn't sound good but it is...very good. Oh yea, I drink coffee black without all the "bells and whistles" (sugar and creamer)....I started drinking it black when I was a teen and still 50 years later it's the only way I will. I get a kick out of those that go nuts looking for the sugar or the yellow or blue imitation sugar or creamer if it is not on the counter at work in plain sight.
