I recently just bought a fixer upper sunny Scooter it had been sitting outside for like 6 months, but the Guy told me as is.. so I bought it belt snapped on me half a block from his house lol... thanks too AAA got it home.. anyways put a New belt on it and New clutch and New rollers.. basically whole assembly.. found out it had a 80cc in it but piston was fried..sp bought the 100cc install went smoothly upgraded the jet to .. but for some reason the bike has no power.. it seems like the belt is too big or something because it stutters then picks up fast then stutters... just no power at all like I should be getting for the upgrade I did.. any advice on were I should start my process of elimination to find the problem would be much aporeciated .

are you using the stock air box? they are not much good for flow once you go with a BBK and larger jets. also the fuel bowl may not be filling up fast enough so when you use up the fuel it falls flat until the bowl refills, check the fuel filter and the vacuum petcock for good flow.

For some reason I think it's the clutch? How do you tell if you have a bad clutch RPMs go up scooter slows down or drags with high RPM on takeoff. inspect the belt and variator too, the clutch will have glazed or cracked shoes and the bell will be glazed.
