I have a 2012 Icebear Magnum 300 trike and recently bought a new battery for it (the old one kept on dying after even full charge). So I kept the battery in the trike and it has been stored outside, under cover, in a "lovely" Illinois weather for a past couple of weeks, since I put in a new battery. Last night, I tried taking it out for a little ride and it died on me within minutes of riding. Anything I should do or check in a future. Sorry, I'm not a very technical person. Thanks.

If putting in a new battery didn't fix the problem, it's likely an issue with your charging system or overdraw from accessories. You should test the stator and regulator/rectifier with a multimeter.

My Ice Bear Zodiac's sit for a while I hook up my battery tender that way you are alway 100 % battery, mine hasn't a kick start. Because you trike doesn't have a amp gauge you really don't know where you are charging at and short rides really won't charge you battery up to a 100 % any way hope the may answer you question.
