I have a 60cc Tao Tao I am trying to rebuild..I saw somewhere on here that I could spray starter fluid (or gas) to prime the carb "through the top of the carb"...... I've been spraying it thru the air intake,,,in front of the air filter....is there a better/ easier place to spray it>  Thanks!!!!! Great forum! |

No need to use it as it often will not help unless it is starved for fuel . Not through the top but if you remove the airbox lid and airfilter spray in it towards the carb with the throttle open then hit the starter

My scooter had been sitting for a while and It wouldnt start. I sprayed a good amount of starter fluid in the airbox toward the inside w the air filter off. It cranked up shortly thereafter.
