Ive installed many of these actually doing one in the morning all the ones I've done are still holding up good don't worry about installing the oil pump skip that unless yours is bad put that clamp on the muffler or it will break you'll have to make a bracket

You need to break the engine in by varying the speed and not doing wide open throttle for the first 200 miles or so. That's probably why your first one didn't last.

Now why wouldn't you use the cdi it look like all the other ones on the market. And I'm sure that's why mine didn't last. When I got the paper work for it I asked about the break in because it said like 200 miles but my odometer is in kilometers and wasn't sure if they meant miles or kilometres

[replyingto=millsc]millsc[/replyingto]I always start cheap....and very basic...then add parts from there vice throwing every performance part on at once. If you do it one performance part at a time and run into problems..guess what? It is more easy to diagnose...cause the last part you put on is the first one that caused the problem. Here is a very nice kit that I have put on for 3 folks so far. Fit and finish was great..power was way up there and over all they ran great! www.ebay.com/itm/321093898987?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
