It just seems like yesterday that our server provider Probards updated their software from the V4 platform to the current version we now have V5. They have made a recent announcement of upgrading again to V6. support.proboards.com/thread/572595/announcing-proboards-v6-codename-phoenixFrom what I see this upgrade is mainly for mobile users and will allow all mobile phone users to use and do things here that they can't do now. Other than that the upgrade will mean that some of the codes and things we use now may or may not have to be updated to work with the new upgrade which will be a thing I'll have to do when I see what is going on. There is no date on when this change will take place and I will keep members here informed. The good thing about this change is I will be allowed to make a test forum and work out some of the bugs before software is changed and I will be able to convert it at a time that I choose so I can make it an easier thing to do. Also I don't know if any of you have noticed but the Spell Check has been discontinued by Proboards and I removed it. What I would to know is if members here actually used and want a spell check? If so I can probably find a online version and convert it here to use. JR

My puter has spell check so i didn't even know the forum had one. I would think there is no need?

I would occasionally click spell check instead of post reply, which was a bit irritating. Otherwise, I never used it.
And personally, misspellings in posts never bother me unless I can't figure out what they're supposed to be. I mean, an online forum is not a formal English paper, so who really cares anyways if something's misspelled or not?

Browsers and mobile keyboards have spellcheck included already, I see no need for it.

I'd be down with a "paragraph check", lol.
Even a "too many spaces check" for posts like this: "Hi ! I'm onewheeldrive . I've had a scooter for eight years , and these forums really have helped . I don't know what I'd do without it , probably push my scooter off a cliff , Lol .".

If it helps a few why not? after all isn't that what we are about helping each other?
