Hi all .small prolbem but I am not a small engine machanic by any means .I have a chinese copy of a honda passport / cub .been running good but has sat a while and even a little brfore that I had to run with the choke about half way , runs strong and pulls hard .if I push the choke in it falls on its face .any suggestions who be great .thanks

Verify intake filter is clear, and exhaust is not obstructed with nesting insects. Verify fuel flow to carb and check that carb internal fuel passageways are clear. Also check intake and exhaust valve clearance.

Hey thanks , two great videos . I will check the valves and carb .I know the exhaust is free as lots is coming out , but will check the intake first .thanks again

If you are having to run it with the choke on, you are not getting enough fuel. This is why you have to cut the air flow off. You need to take the carb apart, and clean the jets. I bet there is gummy stuff clogging the main jet.
