Just curious about what type of emissions systems the Adly's have to pass EPA testing.
The Genuine Buddy 2-stroke 50 has air injection . .
"air injection system for the exhaust inside the can is a air filter "it is sort of like a 70s smog pump" air piped from the variator fan goes through that filter then through a reed valve into the exhaust by the the begining of the exhaust header . when there is negative pressure ( between exhaust pulses) it injects clean air into the exhaust system between the engine and catalitic converter this provides any unburnt fuel oxygen to completly burn befor it goes into the catalitic converter lowering tail pipe emissions" . . source

LoveloveLOVE the sky shot with the mirrors. Gorgeous, very artistic.
I would've also loved the shot of the bike with guy on bench, but the front tire should've been turned to its left. Then 1) it would look like I'm used to seeing parked bikes look, and 2) more importantly it would've led the viewer's eye to the guy. Still a really nice shot though.

Hey Tortoise,
All of the Adly 49cc 2 stroke's utilize a redesigned exhaust system with an additional catalyst. This additional catalyst allows for a much cleaner exhaust exiting the tailpipe than on previous renditions. Air injection of course is another great alternative to improve the emissions on these air cooled scooters. On a side note, the additional catalyst lowers the standard noise output of the Adly scooters as well. I know a lot of people perceive 2 strokes to be loud, but I think the Adly scooters specifically surprise a lot of people.

What is the top speed (unmodified) on these Adly 50cc 2-stroke scoots? Do they come restricted in any way?

They do come restricted. Top speed out of the crate is about 37mph in the stock form. Thanks!
