The Batmobile is far more macho - the Monkeemobile better for cruising, though...

Hard to get more macho than a turbine engine, and the batmobile has one. Besides, we don't really know who maintained the Monkeemobile. There is no doubt that the Batmobile was meticulously maintained by Alfred.

Batmobile, although this one didn't have the fire out the tail....
What I'm curious about is, are they all remakes, or are any the original vehicles?

"What I'm curious about is, are they all remakes, or are any the original vehicles?" To my knowledge, there have been no replicas of the Monkeemobile built. Many replicas of the original Batmobile have been built.
