Howdy folks. I used to spend a lot of time on the ScootDawg forums about 6-7 years ago. My old scoot was a Kymco People 150 and I put almost 25,000 miles on it before selling it this past August and replacing it with a Honda PCX. After purchasing the PCX, I put over 3800 miles on it, until one month ago I was on an errand for work and locked up the front wheel on some gravel at about 25-30 mph. Some bruised ribs and a broken collar bone later and I've only been back on the scoot once. Of course, it doesn't help any that it's been below freezing and windy the last few days, and that my wife ratted me out to the Dr. after I rode to work last Tuesday. I started motorcycle mechanic school in October and am within three weeks of finishing the first term. The broken shoulder has made it a bit interesting, but I've muddled through. Have only missed one assignment due to the accident. The scooter is fine. I'll get some pics up when I get a chance. And now my question. Anyone have any idea of a good supplier for decent scooter shocks? I've found some I'd like for my PCX, but I have to get them shipped from Europe. I'd also like to get some better fork innards. Unfortunately, there really isn't a lot of aftermarket support for scooters here in the U.S. unless you have a Ruckus or a Burgman. Here's the address of the shocks I found. I think they'd look snappy on my black PCX. www.powerbypcx.com/en/accessories-pcx-v1/255-shocks-absorber-gaz-yss-g-euro-red-adjustable-honda-pcx-125150-v1-v2-v3.htmlThanks in advance for any ideas.

Those do look decent and a decent price as well,,, contact eibach for a spring set and a 15-20 weight fork oil and it's a wrap

When are they going to cover suspension upgrades in class? The instructors may have some local suppliers they could point you towards or make it part of an extra credit assignment.
You would be surprised at how much you can do with adjusting preload and such on the front forks with common hardware store items and adjust stiffness with just an oil change. Some with Aprilias will install fork braces from something like a small MotoGuzzi motorcycle and use Race Tech Gold Valves to give them some additional adjustability.
Hope you continue to heal up and recover quickly. I still have bruises from my 45 mph slide out on some sugar sand this past spring. My riding gear saved me from anything really severe.

We've already done a bit with suspension, yes. The front forks are decent enough that they are on the back burner. I can also get those shocks from a distributer in Thailand. Bikersbits.com. Price is better, though shipping is two months. Can also get some snappy red side panels for cheap.
