There some series of movies I like and pull them out and play them from time to time. Star Wars Star Trek Matrix Jurrasic Park Lord of the Rings Jackie Chan movies (plus just about any of the fantasy martial arts flix - Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon for example)
(just off the top of my head) Individual movies: Contact The great escape The Wizard of OZ Shawshank Redemption Enemy at the Gates Tora! Tora! Tora! (don't have this one on DVD, but whenever is shows up on cable I try to watch) + other WWII movies
Really too many others that I like a lot... Mostly SCI-FI. Guess that's more than 5 ... Oh well what can I say?

Sounds like dollar twenty five is a Raquel Welch fan. I have not come up with My top 5 list, but the man who would be king and Monty python and the Holy grail are on it, floridagull. not a raquel welch fan. the reasons i picked my movies: (1.) this is an inspiring documentary, a true rags to riches legend known as dale earnhardt. flat broke and hardly any education, his man almost became NASCAR itself within his lifetime. not only that, this man was a true genius behind the wheel. (2.) another doumentary, but it had a tragic ending. it gives a gripping account of the endurance of man under adverse conditions. (3.) science fiction. great visuals, that even today doesn't seem dated. (4.) science fiction. great visuals and storyline, the acting isn't too bad either. (5.) science fiction. this one is more cerebral than the others.

Tora! Tora! Tora! (don't have this one on DVD, but whenever is shows up on cable I try to watch) + other WWII movies this movie is sub titled. the dialog is japanese but it's sub titled into english. personally i do not like sub titled movies, because it distracts you from the visuals. you are too busy reading the sub titles instead of watching the movie. i have to agree that WW2 movies, and especially actual combat footage appeals to me. there was great strategy all over the globe in regards to WW2. i have quite a bit of material on WW2. a stack of DVDs in paper sleeves at least 7 inches thick.

That is craft beer brewed in College Station TX by New Republic. You will have to plan a road trip to buy it. I saw it in my local grocery store a few days ago.
