Hey guys. Very new. Got a quick question.
Neighbor gave me 50cc Roketa Scooter. MC-16-50 model.
I know nothing about these things and the ignition switch is shot. Ordered a part - didn't fit even remotely. (Can provide pictures if needed)
What I do know:
50mm mounting distance on the ignition 4 wire - technically 3 pins and a separate ground maybe? Can't find the matching part anywhere.
Thoughts?

Apologize for the delay in response. Forgot my login credentials. Included below are relevant pictures. Some of the housing of the ignition itself, and the cosmetic end of the ignition are not present/broke! Let me know if there is anything else that may help determining the part I'd need! I suppose it's fair to include that I'm fairly capable mechanically, and electrically. If a little rewiring of a plug is in order - not an issue. Details to start: Yes, it runs! Kick starts with little hesitation! It actually runs quite well aside from the no electric start... all other problems come from the ignition not being connected / tapping the battery. -Kai Scooter: Mounting side: Male plug end: Free wire end:

No need for an apology, No worries about the delay in posting, People are busy and even posting pics can be an issue at times... I assume this is sort of a weekend project anyway.... Not your daily driver. Just to review, This sexy scooty indeed runs but, only able to kick start.... First question, Just to get it out of the way---- The kill switch is in the On position and you have the keys, You pull the brake lever and hit the start button, It sounds like it wants to turn over but wont...... Correct? Now then, My next educated guestimate would be to check the battery as the pics provided show no issues with the plug and wires..... A dead cell may easily cause this issue even if a charger shows full. Does this scoot have an alarm or remote start? If so, Remove that stuff for diagnoses.

So everything works as normal, when I charge the battery. My ignition switch became corroded and a fair deal of it broke away. I used a pair of pliers to switch the inside of the ignition cap over to effectively be "always on," thus tapping the battery in the process which will probably need to be replaced once the ignition is fixed.
Everything works as it should, aside from the janked ignition switch!
