Remember trickle charger doesn't shut it self off it keeps charging were a battery tender has a processor will will not boil out fluid. yes a little more money but well worth it IMO  |

There is a difference between a Trickle Charger and a Battery Tender/Float Charger. If you want the longest battery life you need the Tender not the Trickle Charger.
