Hi guys new to this forum but have many points of interest reference the 260 scooter I've probably have had more to deal with than most. Like to hear from others about this scoot as well.

Hi Maxwells,
Welcome to the forum. I too have the TBX260. It's a 2012 EFI. I'm always interested in getting guidance from other owners.

I have a 2014 BMS EFI 260cc, and I haven't got mine running yet. It's not getting any fuel to the fuel filter? Have you had any problems with yours?

I have a 2008 Vog 260 (same scoot) and I'm about to turn 14,000 miles. I've been all over this thing so I hope I can offer you guys some insight when things go wrong.

Hi Mike, this is interesting, I did not remember what 250 scooter you had. I had a man buy a regulator for a fuel injected model, it was something that I matched up and would need some figuring out. After he installed the regulator. Then he tells me it still does not run. I had no idea that the scooter did not run, I understood it had burned wired on the regulator. Enough of my babble. Can you snap a picture of your regulator (is it the same for the fuel injected model) with wire color. Perhaps some tracing on any odd balls. John

tvnacman Hi John! Hope all is well. I've been away from the boards for a while and its good to be back. I don't know too much about the differences between my carburated and EFI models beyond the fact that the EFI model has an electric fuel pump and mine's a vacuum.. I need to take the faring off this weekend and I'll take some pictures of the regulator. If it helps here is a link to JR's site that will take you to the official BMS wiring diagram for the carburated version. It takes a little time to load. -Mike www.jr-richscooterdoc.com/WD_BMS_tbx_260.pdf

Wondering why? I used to be able to start the unit right from the start button but now that does not happen and I have to move the kick stand several times before it will kick over and start right. It probably has something to due with grounding?? any ideas ??

Welcome to the forum.. I don't have a TBX 260. I would imagine one needs a feeler guage and take off the head to adjust valves. More complex then my CN250 engine.

It used to start just by the starter button with the kick stand in the up or down position. Now it wont crank unless I work the kick stand up and down. Do you know where is the switch on the kick stand and starter button ??
Thx Max

FWIW, BMS used to advertise, with the carb version, that it had a kick stand kill switch.
