Hey all,
I'm new to the forum and this is my first post, I'm excited to be apart of the board! That said:
On my way into work the other day my scooter died at a stop light. I got it to start and idle for another few seconds and it died again and I haven't been able to start it sense .
The scooter is a 2004 Eton Beamer with 3100 miles and a rebuilt engine as of about 300 miles.
Today I tore apart and cleaned the carb...still nothing. I'm at somewhat of a loss and welcome and appreciate any advice!

Have you checked the valve lash? They may need to be adjusted.

Have you checked the valve lash? They may need to be adjusted. No valves on a two stroke. Check compression. You know the rules, compression, fuel, spark, Vacuum. Also, check the plug, and the plug wire.I had a problem once that I couldn't figure out. Turns out I just needed to trim the dead ends off of my plug wire. They screw right back into the coil and cap.

Well, I got another chance to look at it. There is spark, haven't got my hands on a compression tester yet. With it being so fresh of a rebuild, is it really possible that it needs another, even if it's just a new ring etc..

You have spark,,,on a fairly recent rebuild,,,I'd say you have a fuel delivery problem
