I took apart a scoot to do a big bore kit had it stripped down to the crankshaft rod, piston off and all, i was waiting for the mailman to deliver the kit. So while i waited i stupidly decided that i was gonna change the rollers, took my impact wrench to the variator and it just spun, duh! no piston or jug or anything on the scoot. I look down and theres a pool of oil on the ground and the chain was in the crankcase. I get the chain out and put it back on the crank, and the kit didn't even come today, wonder if i messed up anything by doing this and wonder where the oil came from, its not leaking anymore.

Probably didn't break anything. You will need to make sure you get the timing marks all set right.
