Ok so i placed that order the 22nd of june in the morning, it is now the 24th. Up til now i my order on roketa has been listed as "open". I figured hey its problably a chinese company but no one company ive ever dealt with takes longer than 24hours to atleast respond to the order. I gave Goldenvale Inc aka Roketa a call today. I got transfered to some very ethnic person that didnt speak much english and then back to what sounded like a professional secretary. After some "investigating" she said the parts guy is getting the part now as we speak and theyll have it shipped out today...
Ive read on other forums about how Goldenvale Inc is such a shitty company to deal with. Hopefully my part gets shipped as promised and i wont have to deal with them again.. Im sure if i waited 4 or 5 days i wouldve still had an "open" order. I payed for something and theyre too lazy and/or incompetent to ship in a timely manner. If not shipped atleast some sort of recognition that the order is being processed or something.. I hate waiting and i hate delays even more.

You should have asked where to buy parts . to be honest , if you find a good eBay seller , you will get good results. Much better then going to some company like that . and most of us know some good ones. There are also good parts stores that are not on eBay.

I've seem to notice that most of the more reputable sellers also have ebay stores where they have a satisfaction percentage of 99%+. Thats why I just shop parts on ebay.

Ok so yesterday they told me "the guy is pulling the part as we speak" or whatever This is how my order has been since i ordered the parts early morning of the 22nd. I was reading on other forums about the lack of parts for Roketa bikes. I thought the best choice wouldve been directly through the us retailer. Am i being a little anal about this? I havent had one other instance in all my life where someone doesnt respond me within 24 hours of ordering something. The way i look at it, an open order means no one has bothered even fullfilling the order with the required parts. Yesterday they told me it was getting pulled. Nothing on my email, nothing on their website. I would assume the order wouldve changed from open, to either pending, on partially shipped by now. Im going to call them again and if it doesnt get sorted out im calling my bank.

I just called them again and oh so coincidentally they just updated the order "10 mins ago" while i was on the phone. Looking at the website it is still showing open on my end. She gave me a tracking number. I wrote it down and i asked who it was being shipped through but i could not make it out. I just searched the 18digit tracking number through USPS, UPS, DHL and FedEx with 0 results.

You could have found that tripletree on ebay, but that does you no good now. Roketa, the brand, is just the plastic farings. The frames, and engine parts are all shared by various "GY6" models.

There are variations, but all you need to do is remove and measure your current one then find the same one. Scrappy sells them and I know a lot of people order a lot from scrappydogs without any issues and always hear about how scrappy only has high quality stuff.

I can't verify that scrappy sells nothing but high quality parts , but I can say that I do not like the way they do some of their builds. They tend to use some parts that you can only get through them or almost impossible to find ,or they will use a different stly part that can also be a pain for the buyer if a problem occurs. which as a business its smart , but for the buyer it can be a pain.

I checked on ebay and all of them looked slightly different than mine. I figured buying the exact part would avoid any fitment issues. I checked the tracking number and now its showing through UPS as a shipping label created but nothing has been shipped yet. I guess ill have to wait a damn month before this thing comes in.

You got the right part, for sure, and that is all that matters. You did good.
When my frame broke, it broke right next to the shock under the seat, so I tried to just swap out the handlebars, and instrument panel from my broken frame to the new one. But, when I inserted the handlebars, it was notched differently. when the front tire was straight, the handlebars were turned all the way to the right. I couldn't get the shocks out of the tripletree, for the life of me. So I cut a new notch with a dremel, and off I went. But, it was a pain.
My point is, it is very nice to be sure you got the right part, which you did.

That's what's nice about finding a good seller . they usually post all the measurements and pics of the product so you cant go wrong. You watch , he'll get the part and it will be wrong , lol. Actually that's not funny , but it could still happen. Those companies sell different types.

Alright got my package from ups today in a poor makeshift sized box. I was already expecting the worst but as i unpackaged it i found the part was an exact match. All i had to do was remove the old bearing race from the old forks. Reinstalling was fairly easy by using the old forks as a driver as the race is pressed in. I have it fitted on the forks and it looks reasonably straight now. I just need to re-weld in the little ear that broke off on the right side that limits how much the wheel can turn.

Thank god it was right, lol
