Alright got my package from ups today in a poor makeshift sized box. I was already expecting the worst but as i unpackaged it i found the part was an exact match. All i had to do was remove the old bearing race from the old forks. Reinstalling was fairly easy by using the old forks as a driver as the race is pressed in. I have it fitted on the forks and it looks reasonably straight now. I just need to re-weld in the little ear that broke off on the right side that limits how much the wheel can turn.

I think i did i found a site or two that had them but they wanted like bucks which seemed a bit overpriced. It seems like the forks will be coming in monday now through ups.

I checked on ebay and all of them looked slightly different than mine. I figured buying the exact part would avoid any fitment issues. I checked the tracking number and now its showing through UPS as a shipping label created but nothing has been shipped yet. I guess ill have to wait a damn month before this thing comes in.

I just called them again and oh so coincidentally they just updated the order "10 mins ago" while i was on the phone. Looking at the website it is still showing open on my end. She gave me a tracking number. I wrote it down and i asked who it was being shipped through but i could not make it out. I just searched the 18digit tracking number through USPS, UPS, DHL and FedEx with 0 results.

Ok so yesterday they told me "the guy is pulling the part as we speak" or whatever This is how my order has been since i ordered the parts early morning of the 22nd. I was reading on other forums about the lack of parts for Roketa bikes. I thought the best choice wouldve been directly through the us retailer. Am i being a little anal about this? I havent had one other instance in all my life where someone doesnt respond me within 24 hours of ordering something. The way i look at it, an open order means no one has bothered even fullfilling the order with the required parts. Yesterday they told me it was getting pulled. Nothing on my email, nothing on their website. I would assume the order wouldve changed from open, to either pending, on partially shipped by now. Im going to call them again and if it doesnt get sorted out im calling my bank.

Ok so i placed that order the 22nd of june in the morning, it is now the 24th. Up til now i my order on roketa has been listed as "open". I figured hey its problably a chinese company but no one company ive ever dealt with takes longer than 24hours to atleast respond to the order. I gave Goldenvale Inc aka Roketa a call today. I got transfered to some very ethnic person that didnt speak much english and then back to what sounded like a professional secretary. After some "investigating" she said the parts guy is getting the part now as we speak and theyll have it shipped out today...
Ive read on other forums about how Goldenvale Inc is such a shitty company to deal with. Hopefully my part gets shipped as promised and i wont have to deal with them again.. Im sure if i waited 4 or 5 days i wouldve still had an "open" order. I payed for something and theyre too lazy and/or incompetent to ship in a timely manner. If not shipped atleast some sort of recognition that the order is being processed or something.. I hate waiting and i hate delays even more.

Yup i removed the shocks and put in the jack tube inside and retightened the bolts. I think i got the tree a bit straighter but its still crooked. I clamped it on a vice and rocked my whole weight on the end of the shaft. Even with an extension on top of the jack handle i couldnt manage to get it straiight. I managed to find the exact part through roketa and got it ordered. No delivery status yet.

Well i told the guy id buy the whole thing if he can get the title for it. When i went to go look at it he went to look for the title quickly but couldnt find it. Then he texted me that his gf should know where its at that shed be home at 8 yesterday. I txted him if hed let me take just the fork id or if not ill take the whole bike as long as it has a title. He hasnt replied or answered my call. If i swap engines wont i need to register the bike(frame) itself. How will i be able to do that without a title. There is a $10 difference from just buying the fork and from buying the whole complete parts bike. Welp i just ended up ordering the tree online, ill see when it arrives. www.roketa.com/product/parts_detail.jsp?partId=5333&partName=STEERING%20ASSEMBLY(5)

Well of the two sellers on craigslist, one isnt responding and the other bike i went to look at is still fully assembled. The one that isnt responding looks more like my bike, the other bike i went to look at is slightly different than mine. I cant tell 100% the forks are the same because it has all the plastic still attached. He wants me to take the whole thing not just a part though, it has no title so im weary.
I tried straightening the tree by using a handle from a heavy floor jack thats about 30 inches long. I felt some movement and used my whole body weight at the end of the shaft to try and straighten it. There is still about a 3 degree difference in the shock angles. I dont think its going to get straightened.

Ok so i took the front tire off. and removed the shocks. The shocks dont appear to have any runout. However if you look at the 2nd picture you can see the difference between the left and right shock angles. Im assuming its due to a bent fork. Im unsure if the frame was bent. The fork itself is about 45 new not including shocks. Theres two 150cc scoots on craigs, dont know if the parts will fit, theyre both chinese What do you guys think?

Ok so im not sure what im looking at here. The frame has a chunk missing on the left side that limits how much of a steering angle you can pull. I cant tell if the fork is bent exactly, it might be. The shocks appear to be sitting at different angles.

Well i was kind of fucking around with it. I rode it around the block feeling uneasy since scoots dont have clutches. My brother rode it around the block some more, then when he came back i tried pulling a scooter stunt at the end of the driveway. My driveway is kind of long, can problably fit like5-6 cars back to back. I accelerated no more than one car length and hit the brakes. I felt like they skidded but my brother said they didnt lock. I clipped the 4x6 post that supports the carport, and at that point i immediatley lowsided. The steering felt funky, as-in the handlebars were pointing in a different direction than the wheeel when centered. I dont know if theyre adjustable or not ill have to look into it further. Theres a couple gy6 parts bikes online i can problably steal the forks from if theyre bent. But for around $300 i can score a complete newer model scooter that doesnt look as ugly. Ill have to do a damage report on the scoot later tonight and make a decision. Ive owned 2 motorcycles before so im no stranger to two wheels, this wont change anything Thank the lord for inventing self healing body parts. Im a bit sore right now, the swelling has gone down from how it was upon impact. I had a knot the size of a plum on my shin. No broken bones. I also sprained my thumb a bit and peeled a little skin but thats nothing. Heres the damage report on my legs:

Welp folks, i appreciate all the help but it looks like the shows over.
I took it for a test drive and nearly broke my leg. I tried stopping after a quick throttle jerk but needless to say the scoot didnt stop in time. Im not an idiot, i have a moto endorsement. The scoot clipped a 4x4 post and my leg hit something pretty damn good. My brother saw the surprise unfold infront of him. I havent really looked it over but somethings definetley funky with the steering column. I think its not worth doing anything more.
Im an idiot lol

Ok so i readjusted the exhaust so now both valves are at .004 When warm it starts back up instantly no hesitation. When cold i can get the bike to start up fairly quicker now, it still requires a slight blip at the throttle. I messed around with the mixer screw and im about 1.5 turns out. I dont notice an immediate RPM difference as soon as i turn the screw. When i crank it cold i have to hold throttle to keep it running for a sec or two while i wait for the choke to kick in Then the rpms jump to about 2000 and slowly settle back down to 1500. Does 1.5 turns out sound about right for the mixer screw? I did remove the carb and inspect the jets 2 days ago, everything looked clear and i also sprayed them. The carb was in pretty good shape, no gunk buildup anywhere I also have a couple other issues Theres a P light that stays on which i assume stands for Park. How do i make it go away? The fuel gauge also isnt working. I tried removing and adjusting the float with no difference. Im not too worried about the gauge but if you have any tests let me know. In the front end i have 3 loose connections. One of them is for the headlights. I dont know what the single wire and the other plug is for.
