Vip 49cc dosent have a pink wire am i missing somenthing. Can i unplug the rpm gauge and still run or is there another way to unlimit the rev limiter? It has a red and black striped wire? Attachments:

The pink wire is used only in 2T Adleys not a 4T scooter . Many already have unlimited CDI which is what I think you meant to say instead of CPI . Try lighter rollers if you want the RPMs higher but too light will loose top end and MPG . I used 5 grams on my 4T scooter

I ment cdi your right but still seems like my revs are limited any way around this? My rpms wont go over 7k some time 6.5 k got to my a/f screw and not much change besides it runs with out air box but seems to bog if its not set at a certin spot?

Can you go over 7k downhill . I think the redline for a stock 49cc is 7,500 so 7k should be fine

No hills here in vb just level ground seems like 40 is top speed for my vip and most streets are 45 some are 35 but seems to me that drivers do 5-10 mph over and need a little more ooph out this thing to even ride it anywhere but a neighborhood and i use my scoot for everyday to work and the store

40 is pretty common for a top end speed on a stock 49cc scooter that is a four stroke. Try putting a performance Variator on it. A Dr Pulley or a Prodigy. If you don't want to spend the money on that yes go with 5 gram rollers.
