I'm having issues uploading the video , so in the meantime here are a couple screen shots of the video . it shows the mph + coordinates and time . the first pic is a pic of the scoot hitting 76mph down a medium hill . the second is a screenshot of one of the straight runs of the video. (Edit) " the 66 mph screen shot was not taken on the straight run , u have to watch the video to see it " I hit 66 mph at around 7000 - 7100 rpms. I have 15 gram weights in .
14.5 gram weights were too light . I hit 7500 rpms on a straight run but the belt wasn't climbing as high on the variator. So I'm gonna have to finish tuning the CVT with the main clutch spring. I need a 1500 main spring. The 2000 rpm main wasnt letting the clutch open until the rpms were too high, even with 16 gram weights . the stock main was open fully early and the 16's were too heavy. So , the 1500 main should be perfect . it should allow the rpms to rise , and with 15.5 or 16 gram weights the clutch should open fully while in the sweet spot between 7300-7500 rpms.

I see screenshots but no video. I'm interested to see the full thing.
Yeh , I'll have the video up probably 2moro . I can't upload it to youtube from my phone. The speed cam app has its plus's , but also has its negatives.

I'm not sure if this is the first half or second half . the first half starts at a stoplight. If it works I'll post the other half . I don't start really running the scoot hard until a mile or so in.

I think the link if for an iPhone , but I'm not sure . I can watch the video in the saved files in the speed can app but when I try to watch the file like this I cant. If anyone has an iPhone , please let me know if this video plays. I'll post the other link. Here it is .

You've got that thing humming, buddy. I was checking out the thread you made on your variator earlier. That's a nice variator. I just ordered a nicer variator, but it's not the really nice kind.
Jonway 50 50mm big bore 1500 torque spring variator upgrade
It sucks its blurry . how do you like the speedo cam ?

Its really hard to make out the smaller inclines and declines . its even hard to tell where the straight runs are . all I know is the speedo stayed at 66 while on the couple straight runs. I'm pretty sure the screenshot I took was from one of them, but I'm not sure , I went through the run pretty quick to find them , but if you watch the video you can tell where the straight runs are " look for spots where the scoot stays at 66 for a few seconds" . i have more of the run I can post if anyone wants to see it ? The app splits the run up it sections of 3 or 5 min , I forget , but if anyone wants to see the rest I'll post them .

I really like the K&S variator , its just a little harder to tune in . this variator is much more sensitive and has to be tuned with the main clutch spring also. The first koso I ever bought was pretty good , but the others were almost impossible to tune and get good belt climb. I was running 9.5 gram weights in the last couple Koso's and that was with a 2000 main clutch spring.

It is to be expected when recording with a device that does not have shake-controls, especially when mounted on a vibrator on wheels.
It's cool, I was thinking of editing the video to have tons of deers running past and make it look like you were just missing all of them lol, but then I thought that would be mean.

What is the stock clutch spring on 150cc? I have a 150cc engine I'm going to scrap soon, transmission is in impeccable condition.

That would be funny. If you can do it , go ahead .
