So I have purchased a new engine for my scooter, bought from T-Motorsports.com, they do sell on ebay and amazon, however I noticed the long case was $10.00 more on ebay. Was $270.00 plus $59. shipping, where ebay was $280.00 with $59. shipping. Ordered at 2:21pm on Sunday, I did know they would not process until next day. Recieved an e-mail at 2:28pm that my order has been shipped. Coming from California to Arizona so hope to have the new motor by end of the week. However I just went to thier website and longcase 150cc is now $290.00 plus shipping. Glad I bought it yesterday lol. Will post when I recieve and what condition everything is in.

When I first came across T-Motorsports they were selling the engine at $309!!! That's what made me put them in my favorites... Then I was watching them sell hand over foot and they started taking up the price... When they raised them to $329.99 is when I ordered mine... 3 long, 1 short....
I wonder how high they will keep raising them... Eventually it's going kill their sales.
Oh yeah, one thing to note, the box has direction arrows as to what way it should face... FedEx must ignore this because all 4 of my motors were not "arrow up" and leaked oil all over the inside of the box and on the motor.... Fingers are crossed that your FedEx guy will be more diligent than mine

So received my motor today Opened the box expecting to have oil everywhere, being it was on its side when delivered, but lo and behold was completely clean. So don't know if the oil didn't leak or if there is none in motor, find out when I get home today. On a plus did not think that it would come with the brake shoes, doesn't show with on their site nor say anywhere they come with, but mine had new shoes installed already. Will be installing this weekend and doing basically a new PDI for the motor, and will post results soon.

So just checked the motor, I have at work, and there is oil in the motor so I got lucky and it did not leak any.

Hahaha, the oil leaked and soaked in all over the box, when I got one of my engines. The fedex guy said, "THEY SHOULDN'T PUT OIL IN THERE LIKE THAT!". He was mad! The box they shipped it in was originally for an ELECTRIC push mower, lol. I mean, it looked like something you'd find in the toy aisle at Wallyworld.

Yea my box had arrows pointing up and they had it on its side. So new motor is installed, only 2 things so far, the carb was not a new carb looks to have been refurbished but if it works I'm happy, and the new r/r is a 5 plug my harness and old one is a 4 wire, so hope it still will work, done for the night after work tomorrow going to get gas and see if it will fire up and adjust carb, drain oil and refill with new and gear oil, then take for a ride. So should have more tomorrow.

got to thinking, my carb may have been new just not cleaned well when put into the box, relized when I pulled the chinoplug to put a NGK plug in it had been ran, unless they put a brand new looking plug in that had been run in something else, plug looked like it had a little run time on electrode.

You know, I too thought these carburetors looked re-manufactured, or even used.... The seller list the items as "Brand new" though.... I need to inspect the carbs TMS shipped, and i'm going to pull the plugs and see what they look like... If they look ran, and not just "test fired", I will pull the cylinder head and inspect the pistons. I hate having to this because there's always a risk of damaging a seal/gasket, especially if they're not brand new.

Update so far so good how ever TMS does not state the motor came with a 5pin regulator, also make sure to check the wires coming from solenoid to harness, mine were in the plug backwards. Going for first start up tomorrow. At least if its not raining.

Well didn't wait until tomorrow. Got it to fire up and she sounds great. Tried the kick starter due to the one on my old motor did not work it would not engage until about halfway thru the down stroke and then didn't give enough to turn the motor over. This motor 3 kicks and she started, was already warm but still glad to have the kick starter if needed.

I hate it when I get a new toy and it's broken or doesn't work right.... One of the scooters I ordered last winter arrived in the crate with roughly 75- % of the plastic damaged... And I'm not talking "scratches or scuffs".. They were cracked and/or flat out broken... Very dissapointed to say the least... But in the end, the seller actually honored the warranty and sent me a whole new set of plastic basically...Long story short, it all worked out....

Still waiting to see if they answer my e-mail, as of right now I would not suggest using TMS if you are needing everything, if just the motor is all you need and have the carb, and other electronics they do seem to be the cheapest however starting to see why, dmartin95 has bought 3 long case and 1 short case from them and recently pulled the carbs apart after my issue and noticed that all the carbs are gummed up.

TMS responded to me... They want pictures... So I snapped some shots... Here gang, check these out,... They tried to sell these to us as new.... (BTW, did you get your carb cleaned and get to go for a test ride)

On the one I have the jets were dirty the outside of the carb was dirty but looked to have a new slide, needle and diaphragm, also the main jet has scratches on the outside and the part where you would put the screw driver to removed is damaged, had to put vice grips on and a wrench to get them apart.
