Have nothing to compare with, but have been using the Dr Pepper glides since the scoot had about 400 miles (now 2700). Because i was mucking around with variators I put a new set in that have been lying around forever - but the old Dr P ones didn't show any wear other than the normal blackened surface discoloration. Wish I had not tossed the old ones or I'd take a photo. Will they fit on a stock variator bro? If so I am going to order them today,,just for piece of mind. Sorry for the delay. The 3 glide plates I have all have identical cutouts for the glides. Any glide will fit in any one of the plates.

I really haven't noticed any big diffence in the different v- slides . it seemed like the red ones that come with the so called Koso's lasted a little longer , but I was unable to buy them separate. The tan ones they sell on eBay seemed to break a little sooner but I can't say for sure since I did not test this in a controlled environment. I've ordered the black and tan and they all seem to perform about the same .

Still jealous of what you get to carry - openly - when you visit scary and dangerous parts of the town like Walmart.

I see verizon lowered their standards so that people in Adah could use their network. Tolerance is so sssspecial! Well with the net neutrality bill passed now they have to deliver the same speeds to everyone without any limits or boosts in speeds or priority lines. That is forcing them to lose money so they are expanding their coverage to gain more customers to hopefully offset it. I only had my v-slides break once, when I had a major failure in the CVT and had to replace the variator, belt and clutch. Some biga-- rock got into my cvt somehow and destroyed the variator and the belt, and I changed the clutch at that time too just to make sure I was good. Since then I always change my belts when they seem to give more than an inch slack when I squeeze the belt together while it is still on the pulleys.

Going through my spare parts box and it turns out I did NOT toss the old Dr Pepper guides. Here - after about 2200 miles. though discolored a bit, otherwise look unchanged from new:

Actually it was on the news today about a shootout at another Walmart. A few yrs ago I saw where a guy grabbed a little kid out of a woman's kart and put a knife to its throat. The cops came and had to shoot him in the head before he killed the kid. I would not want to wait that long.

Idk about you guys, I live in Boston, any time you go out at night around here you gotta be careful, so many drunks that get upset too easily I swear! But yeah that's an extreme, Doesn't walmart have guns though? Lol I woulda just ran to the hunting equipment section unless that's where he was held down. Otherwise, we have scooters, just run the bad guys over! Haha

I can imagine riding a scoot past a few bars , being stuck at a red light and all the drunks heckling u , lol , that would suck. I dosent bother me if someone is drinking but I can see it now.

I'd be surprised if they are actually Dr pulley , but I'm sure they will be fine. Gy6racingteam usually has the tan or black ones for the same price but with free shipping. Im kind of thinking that when it comes to the v-slides they are all made from the same type material so actually how different can they be ?
