well on my there was a ring on the boss and there is a wire that runs from the cdi to the clutch bell that keeps the speed and the rpms down mine wouldnt touch a hair above 35 mph downhill or flat but both are easily removed the stock cdi with the restriction wire that runs to the clutch bell my first bbk putting a hpc racing crank in install off handle bars And on mine the screws that hold the intake on are tamper proof to prevent and mods that will need to be delt with if you ever want to change the intake

skuttadawg,May I ask why they have a bad rep.? Called them an they have a few in stock( blue, silver) There price is 1899.00, the man said if I unplugged the restrictor my self he would take off 200.00 today only. Smells maybe a little fishy to me

Me myself after dealing with them and having issues with my parts being delivered on time with the right parts, i wouldn't take a chance spending a dollar much less there asking price for the scooter you can call them up and say look i know about your poor business practices and if they still have the scooter after that and you have no problem doing a charge back if your product is not delivered on that day and try to do the transaction through pay-pal

That is why I warned against buying from them but only mentioned as I saw they had some and I know 2Ts are almost gone unless you find a good used one
