For some reason YT keeps downgrading my videos to 360p from 1080 and 4k. Does anyone know how to upload full res to youtube?

I think they do that to save space.

Yes but alot of folks upload HD video and it plays fine in original def. Whats the trick? The Goog isn't helping much. Even my photographer roomie is clueless. He uploads his 4k gopro videos just fine.

Don't really know much about that, but I wonder if the video format (jpeg, .mov, AVI, WMV, etc.) makes a difference how they are treated even if they are of the same resolution.

From a bunch of research, It looks as if i have to send them to windows movie maker than upload the videos from there. Unfortunately, WMM won't login to my YT account for some reason.
