I saw a hose coming off the VACUUM PETCOCK bouncing of lot, looks like it is going to the tank or carb don't know which one goes where . Can you take a picture of the Side there of the petcock and I saw something in front of the petcock as your looking at it to the right MOVE up and down with the throttle.
As you look at the PETCOCK TWO HOSES go toward the back where does the top hose go and where does the bottom hose go. Alleyoop

That is the "snubber" for the suspension to keep it from bottoming out. I noticed it too and am going to up my preload a bit on the rear shocks. Im taking off plastics and whatnot now for photos.
Great, Maybe it is just the way hoses are and cutting off fuel flow to the Petcock and Carb with the way the hose is bouncing around since it was running good just as it is.

First off is this a GRAVITY FED SYSTEM? Meaning the Tank is ABOVE the CARB and FUEL has to FLOW DOWN HILL with no ups and downs in the fuel hose to the PETCOCK and or the CARB.
I labeled and numbered the hoses with questions: Click on the picture to make it bigger to better read the text.

It is all gravity fed. #1 is vac #2 is Tank vent (the bouncing one) #3 is from tank and #4 you cant see in the video is feed to carb. Nothing is looped or pinched. Tomarrow ill take another video with a better angle so you can see #4 and the rest clearer.

#2 TANK VENT connected to the Vacuum Petcock?? I would take that off the Petcock and plug up that connector on the Petcock. I have never seen a Vac line go to a petcock The Petcock is a closed system and the TANK has to VENT. So if that hose is coming from the top of the tank just zip tie it up higher than where it comes out of even if you have to shorten it it is JUST A VENT. Now if it does not vent that will cause the fuel from flowing which MAY BE YOUR PROBLEM.
TO test this theory Crack the Fuel tank cap so it is loose and see if it still cuts out on you. Alleyoop

Ok, I'll do that before the video tomarrow. I've never seen a vent run to a petcock either. But, there is no carbon canister or anything and EPA will not allow venting to atmosphere so I guess they had to do something with the vapor. and I'll bet if I took the petcock apart that vent shares the same half of the diaphragm as the vac line. this way the vapor just gets burned like the rest of the fuel. But wouldn't that mean if I had a bad gas cap I would lose vacuum? and that my fuel tank is under vacuum when the engine is running? Seems counter productive for the fuel delivery.
No gas tanks have to vent even car tanks have a vent hose. Most older scoots have a gas cap with a little hole drilled into the gas cap. What happens is the gas tank lets off some fumes and creates pressure and stops the flow of fuel. Only the newer scoots come with the Charcoal canister and most of them always take it off because they cause nothing but problems.
The extra connector on your petcock is just another FUEL INLET not a vacuum port. The vacuum port is on top in the center which moves the diaphgram up and down to allow fuel to flow to the carb. Alleyoop

And that is WHAT I AM telling you is WRONG BRO. #2 does not go onto a connector on the petcock. That Petcock has TWO fuel inlet connectors just like the one I posted. So listen up and take that hose off and just tie it up out of the way and let it VENT TO THE AIR and PLUG up the connector on the PETCOCK. Alleyoop

Oh yeah the quote was right there. I am an
OKOK! I'll pull it off and plug it. But this is how TGB built it. Not sayin they are smart, right or, bright. Im kinda suprised it made it this far without a single problem. My Gy6 50 was notoriously terrible in comparison.

I am not saying 100% it will fix your problem but IT MAY BE THE PROBLEM that the tank is not venting. That is NOT a vacuum connector on that petcock and it looks pretty new compared to the rest of the scoot so I don't believe that came with the scoot.

I'll go through the maintenance records again. I have a rather large folder of them from the previous owner..EVERYTHING! But it was all just the de restriction of CDI and Variator washer (The washer is actually taped to the folder with a date!) as well as weatherization for winter. She never drove it in bad weather. This winter is its first year out and it has taken its toll already on the chrome and whatnot. I know her well and she constantly complains that I ride all year on her old scoot (all in good fun, she knows that I love this scoot).

Well, I guess I over looked the paperwork when I bought the scoot. The petcock was replaced in 09 due to a cutting out issue. No, other issues were found. I went ahead and ordered a new petcock just for giggles as removing the vent line and plugging it did not help anything. These petcocks are super cheap anyway, just $15 shipped.
