Hello , I m curious how many bought their scooter to save on gas and how many bought their scoot just for the fun of riding one .
About 6 yrs ago I went on vacation to sunset beach north Carolina . while we were there my dad and I rented a couple 50cc scoots and I didn't want to stop riding them . a couple yrs later I noticed my brother in law and landlord had a 150cc scoot . it was just sitting in the snow uncovered ,so I asked him if he would sell it . I ended up buying it for $600 bucks but after I bought it I had to buy a few parts to get it running right , so he ended up giving me $150 back .
My main reason for buying the scoot was to have some fun riding it. After having it for one season I got that is itch to go faster , not just for fun but to be able to keep up in traffic. This scoot has been one of the best things I've ever bought and Id hate to have to give it up .
