I havn't tried through the rim. I'll go out and see if I can position it to do that.
I cannot see anywhere where the swingarm could still be attached other than stuck on the shaft.

What did u do with the muffler ? Did you leave it attached to the swingarm and only remove the header or did you remove both the muffler and the header together ?

Muffler and Header were removed still together as one unit.

Muffler and Header were removed still together as one unit. I don't know what to tell you . there is really not much u can do besides apply force . not sure if you tried heat yet . Have tried tapping on the inner bearing ? Its not like the swingarm is pressed over the axle , it shouldn't be that stuck.

Do you ride in the rain a lot ? If so your probably rusted to the axle. I imagine you tried hitting in on the swing arm " like your pounding it on" ? Then trying to pound it back off. Or have u tried giving the end of the axle a wack or two ?

When it comes to the axle nut , you said u removed the washer " I call it a spacer since it creates a space between the nut and the bearings" . how are your threads ?,do you see any rust or obstructions in front of the bearings ?

Yes to all. I do ride in the rain. This is my daily driver to work (15 miles each way) in all weather.
I've tried pounding it from several different ways. applied heat. I think I may have gotten a couple mm of movement, which is progress.
I'm gonna try again in the morning when I can see better.
I do appreciate all of the assistance.

No prob , I know how frustrating this could be . I wouldn't be able to sleep . if and when u get it off , I'd regrease the bearings " if they're still good" and grease the axle also .let us know how it goes . I'll be up early , I'll try to think of a better way to get it off.

Please tell me you sprayed it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When you get it off be sure to clean off the rust , best to polish the shaft then coat it with never seize or grease . This way it never happens . Since your beating it apart you need to check the bearing when it comes apart . That puts a lot of stress in ways it does not normally get .

Tried for a couple hours this morning again. Gave up on removing it today. Put everything back together cause I have to get to work and hopefully can look at it again next Monday.

I don't think he sprayed it . I can tell you when replacing motors without penetrating oil the pulley almost always breaks .

I did spray it. That's when I was able to see a slight bit of progress, but I got called into work and had to put it all back together. I'll keep spraying it and try to remove it again on Monday.
